Given the option I would rate it ZERO! Mainly for the owner's approach. We have been living in USA for the past 9 years, traveling and living in different places. Sadly this is the 1st time we have encountered such food and behavior from any restaurant or a service person so far. We ordered for a 'SPICY' Boneless Chicken Biryani for togo. Usually I have seen people offering Chicken 65 type marinated pieces for boneless biryani , however these people are different. They gave regular biryani style marinated boneless pieces. That's still fine. But!! inspite of we specifying 'Indian spice level' , we got mild biryani with not properly cooked bland pieces(attached is the picture, if it is clear). I called them , to give a genuine feedback expecting them to be empathetic (as how usually people be) so that they can improve or be more cautious next time because no one is perfect. But their response was shocking, pathetic and way away from customer centric. As I told him the pieces are bland and rubbery like not properly cooked , before I can complete my sentence, he interrupted saying "there is no problem with cooking, it is best" . He further added saying , it is breast piece, however we cook it is going to be bland and many do not like it.(should have mentioned on menu if so). So why sell it? He answered Many Americans like it that way, you should have gone for traditional biryani if you need tender pieces.(all this in loud rude tone) Like really?? who on earth speaks like this to a customer. After a 5 minutes of his rude argument he said, " I donot want to argue with you come and take traditional biryani and then speak about it" . He was not apologetic nor pleasing. Worst behavior to expect from a service channel. If they are cooking as per American's taste they should have mentioned all those ifs and buts on the menu. We called with a good tone to give review for their benefit, because that's what helps them spread goodwill. I am sure they wouldn't dare to speak a tone up with American's here, but do speak to Indians in such unpleasant and disrespectful way. In my years of experience ,I have seen Americans and others being pleasing and approachable to everyone. But few people like these act humble towards others and disrespect their own. This is so wrong and feels sad. I think if we also start suing them for offending emotionally , that is when these kind of people will learn their space. I have the recording of our conversation and I wish there is an option to share here. Very rude and unpleasant experience. It is not about food but mainly the Owner and his wife's behavior.

This might be lengthy but you should read it if you can. Call it an "accident" or whatever this might be, but this was unacceptable and embarrassing. Up until this morning, I used to rave about this place. Their biriyani is out of this world and both my husband and I loved this place. We order food from there when we have guests and we have had good things to say until this morning. We ordered biryani from here last night because a dear friend of mine was visiting us. She took a little bit out of the container for dinner and took the remaining home. She heated up the remaining for lunch today and as she made her way to the bottom of the container, she found a fly. When she texted me, "I found a cooked fly," I was so shocked and embarrassed. No amount of apology would work although she was very forgiving. It might have been a mistake but it doesn't matter. You're in the business of selling food. We trust you to deliver food that's clean, fresh, and free of flies for the money we pay. Which means that your only job is to make sure that there isn't anything else in the rice that doesn't belong there! I am so upset that this happened and I am sad to say that you lost two loyal customers . We used to recommend this place to our friends and families, but this really was unfortunate :(

Small place but nice atmosphere.I think biriyani is their signature item and it is authentic and good. Visited this place multiple times.Their lunch was tasty and good. what ever we tried for dinner was OK.. (like Naan, chicken kothu poratta, chicken tikka, chilli Gobi etc). Mango lessy was also good. we tried take out once (almost during their closing time)..i can say,it was average. Among the three different timings we tried(lunch, dinner dine in,dinner take out), lunch buffet was the winner. Overall food is above average and not over priced.Their Customer interaction is very good.

My personal expectation on Biryani is anyway low in any Indian restaurant in USA. All I expect is a mixture of rice, meat and spice curry. But this restaurant takes my expectations to the next level based on my chicken biryani ordered today on 20th August 2021! Chicken was just boiled pieces with no spice inside it even no salt at all. Quality of chicken was just pathetic, worse than Walmart frozen chicken breast pieces - full of hard fiber. Total 5-6 small pieces of chicken in a full plate. Oh yes... I got one tiny piece of either goat or lamb I couldn't figure out inside the rice, which was totally shock. Rice: soft enough to mix and become sticky in mouth in no time. Spice: I ordered high spice level which was overall spicy and hot but a bit juicy. There was a half piece of boiled egg inside the bowl.

Overall I would give 1 out of 5 rating on the Chicken Biryani I ordered. FYI: the owner behavior is not good as a nice store owner, he is a bit rude. But it doesn't impact on my review, as I totally ignore rude people. ######### I am updating the review on the next day after seeing a reply from the owner that he didn't give me a free water bottle and so I wrote a negative review. Let me clarify it here below section as there is no way to reply back to owner comment but editing mt original review which I am doing now. I have ordered for a pickup and there was no point on water bottle or anything free stuff. This is totally false. May be the owner has mislead me with some other customer. Why the hell I would expect any free stuff (unless he gave me a free piece of goat meat inside a chicken biryani!)? My above review is full based on my experience, unbiased, no strings attached. And may be others get good food here, but this is my personal review as an unsatisfied customer. Every restaurant has good and bad reviews from different customers but the way owner has tried to frame me with the free water bottle stuff is just ridiculous. Is the how the owner deals unsatisfied customer? Very unfortunate for me to interact...

Worst experience I ever encountered. I am usually not a person who reviews or criticizes. But they pushed me to the limit to do so. We ordered for a Spicy boneless chicken biryani. But was unsatisfied with the spice level, taste and cooking levels. My wife called them to give a genuine review. She usually gives reviews in person rather than online, either good or bad. The owner took the call, before she can complete her sentence , he interrupted her and went rude saying there is no problem with biryani it is best. He went on saying ,you don't like it that way but Americans like that way. I have never seen manager or the owner getting offensive and rude for a customer's feedback . That too when she called personally with good sense and not make a scene in the restaurant which would damage their goodwill. We valued that. For almoat 10 mins he was really unpleasant and then offered another biryani saying 'I don't want to talk anymore just come take traditional style biryani, and see how that is' As if he was doing some favour. He was not sorry for his customer's dissatisfaction. His wife was also rude to me whe I went for 2nd time. All she cared was about the American customers there. I have seen a review where one of the customer complained about Sambar and the owner responded saying "it is just a sambar" , how can that ruin your evening or meal. I have never seen such reply in my life time. This ego level for a consumer service member?? Sir now it's jus not raita or onion or salan that spoiled my evening. It is the whole meal and your disrespectful approach that lead to emotional distress doe us. I hope I have the right to review this and I wouldn't be disrespected again with your rude reply ,like the other Indian Customer got. Wish we get better respect and empathy. We should learn how Americans respect everyone's opinions.

PLEASE RESPECT INDIANS , DO NOT FORGET THAT YOU...
