Figured I would try something different then regular restaurants that are in my town. Seen fuzzys and thought it should be good. Can't really mess up tacos. I was wrong. Nothing major wrong with my order. Just some simple deletes from what come on them off the menu. Basic stuff like no feta on the taco. And no beans or guacamole in the burrito. Seemed like a simple request. I was wrong. I know it seems like it's hard to get employees that want to work or that know how to count money at any restaurant lately. So I will let it pass. Just don't plan on a second visit. Taco after getting the feta off wasn't bad. Not really much flavor but ok. So after paying for cheese queso on top the burrito figured couldn't be bad. Well I judged too soon on that. Ordered it without beans and guacamole. They got half of it right. It was loaded with beans. Atmosphere not bad. Lots of Youngs kids working there and rambling on about there life outside of work. Normal kid attitude. Employees were friendly though. Overall not bad just hard to get orders right I suppose. 2 for 2 wrong.

First time at Fuzzy's Taco Shop!! It is quite a busy spot. Interior is very casual with bright yellows and reds. Staff is very friendly and patient even when you cannot decide what to order. You can dine in or do take out. If you dine in, they give you a number tab that you take to your table and your meal is brought to you. When you buy a drink, if you keep the plastic drink cup and bring it every time, your soda will be 99 cents. I ordered the jalapeno bottle caps which had a spicy kick to it. I would say that these were more spicy compared to the habanero hot sauce that is available. I did not find the habanero hot sauce to be spicy and I do have a high tolerance for spicy food. I ordered two tempura shrimp tacos, one in a soft shell and the other a hard shell taco. You have the option of getting grilled shrimp as well. The tacos were tasty, fresh and warm. I also ordered a side of the cilantro rice which was nicely seasoned. I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back to try more items off the menu!!

First timers. Lunch time. Went on recommendation. Liked the atmosphere, open wall for fresh air. Sat at the bar in the middle of the shop. Was suddenly thrown off by the intriguing breakfast items. Decisions. Ordered combo plate - chix enchilada and soft taco / shrimp. The 2 sides - black beans and cilantro lime rice. The rice needed an extra shot of lime from my beer. Need a bit more fresh cilantro too but rice was still good. The black beans....there was something there, I could eat them everyday. 😋 The chicken enchilada with green sauce - score. The chicken wasn't dry (big peeve of mine) and their sauce was a bit creamy and didn't overpower the rest of the enchilada. The shrimp taco was the weak link - the shrimp really needed more browning, hotter grill or little more time. My buddy had a salad - twice! He liked it that much. Service was great. All well put together a return visit is certain.

Good food, but be prepared for a noisy, claustrophobic wait. At least, for now.

Prefacing this to say I've seen plenty of restaurants open, noise and wait isn't uncommon when you're utterly swamped with people. This isn't unusual, or even "bad". It's just a thing to be aware of right now.

Ordered food for three, to go. Twelve minutes twenty seconds to the register, four minutes to order over the noise and commotion, and thirty seven minutes after order placed and paid for to receive food. Wednesday dinner rush.

As an experienced restaurant worker and occasional foodie, I'd say time was seventeen minutes over what should be expected at the busiest for the kind of fare served.

Informed upon receipt of food that part of our order was 86ed. A shame, I wanted to try the tortilla soup. Bad form to get that knowledge after the order is packaged in front of you.

Servers seen touching food with bare hands. Cooks with facial hair not wearing beard guards. General cleanliness beyond reproach, but time will tell if that's just the shiny newness of the building or care and attentiveness of the staff.

Food was well prepared, neither greasy nor dry. Hot and seemed fresh. The chorizo in particular was excellent. The cilantro lime rice was not too much cilantro, but not enough lime.

Price for portion was well within reason, fed three for eleven dollars each and respectably filled and satisfied.

Verdict: Worth the visit, but maybe try outside of rush hours.

Notes to staff: If you're seeing this, remember that you have an open window to your kitchen. It's an opportunity as much as a vulnerability. Make sure your cooks are properly attired and don't work over people's food with tongue protruding past lips. Seriously. That wasn't a show I...

It’s my first time being here and I was extremely confused. Due to it being an indoor restaurant I thought I would be seated, but you actually go up to the register at the bar and order. There was no smile or “hello welcome”. It’s very important to establish customer relations at the door and I do think it is something that needs to improve here. Secondly- a lot of the staff had RBF and were bored Third- the manager, a guy in a blue button up shirt with gray and pepper hair (beautiful smile) was standing at the bar the whole time while there was an African American older couple who sat down after entering * I am guessing it was their first time being here too* and NO ONE HELPED THEM not even the employee who looks like shaggy with the earring in the right Fourth off- the bar tenders obviously do not have an experience except the one that had the SnapBack BUT even she seemed uninterested in interacting with customers

I have been a bartender and a restaurant manager, and I can most definitely tell you that you want to check on every customer and say hello with a smile and stay moving in order to increase profit in a place of business

I most definitely will not be returning here to avoid the pain of seeing the poor customer service, but I will definitely be ordering take out

Y’all it’s only 6:30 and these bartenders don’t know how to use a...

Terrible experience. Ordered takeout and my husband got back with the food and they forgot my WHOLE meal. He ate without me that night and being from Texas, staying in a hotel, with nowhere else opened really after 9-10pm I had extremely limited options. I told him I’ll probably go hungry tonight, that’s if I don’t eat from a convenient store. I called the store even though they had closed since he went to pick it up and they REFUSED to give me my bowl that I already paid for and was already made. I said “you can’t just hand me my food through the door?” And the man refused and said no. I don’t care if you’re closed, it was made and paid for and you simply just have to hand it over, he was obviously still in store. I truly believe they probably gave my bowl away or some part of the staff ate it. Such a terribly operated business and unprofessional. Although the man offered to give me a replacement next day and a gift card for the inconvenience, I have yet received it so I will update.

Let me also say my queso was the wateriest queso I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was FALLING off my chips and not edible and disgusting. Just completely disappointed with the quality of my experience with Fuzzy’s.

Edit: I did receive a gift card the next day that covered the meal I paid for. I appreciate the team for compensating...
