Update: just visited CPK on 4/28/18... Our experience was so disappointing. First off, we got our food without utensils. We had to ask our waitress for it and she had to go to the back to get it. Then of course I ordered the steak... It was cold and didn't have the grill marks like it usually has. I like my steak well done and my steak was pink. Loss my appetite. However, I did speak with the manager and he comped my steak and a dessert that my daughter's ordered. He was really good. The waitresses need to be trained on getting the utensils out and the food. I had to smile at her to get her to smile!!! Sometimes it's a hit or miss here with the waitresses. My family and friends are thinking about not coming here because the waitresses seem stressed most of the time. I kept my receipt this time just in case we go back and we will request that we don't want her serving us. We will see if we do go back to Mililani CPK. Oh and the picture of the steak was taken about 6 months ago when I did my previous review!
This review was about 6 months ago...I was really happy that they opened up a CPK in Mililani. They have the best appetizers and desserts. Also, they have a rewards program. I gave it 4 stars because we didn't like some of the pastas that we tried. However, the pizzas are great and the ribeye is the best. Drinks are delicious as well. They get really busy so sometimes it takes them a while to bring you bread or serve you. The waiters and waitresses are friendly but you can tell when they are overwhelmed. They just need to work on being faster. And occasionally the manager does check up to see how things are going. Other than that, we will continue...
Read moreWe just visited the Mililani location in HI and we experienced a very uncomfortable situation with the staff. Family of 5 adults and a 4 months-old baby. After checking in with the host, she explained us that they had to split our family into 2 different tables because according to the current state regulations they can only sit 5 persons per table. So we agreed with the rules and waited to be seated. Once we were seated in 2 close-by tables. One of the serves told us to move into 1 table to put our family together because the baby wasn't occupying a 6th chair and she wouldn't be eating normal food anyways. He wanted us to be seated together as a family and we proceeded to seat all at the same table ( 5 adults and 1 baby in the lap). After taking our food order and waiting for about 10-15 min. One of the supervisors came to our table to tell us we couldn't seat together and that they will have to split us in to 2 tables again because the 4 month old baby counted as a 6th person. By then, the previous table assigned to us was reassigned to a different family, and we were left with no option but to leave the restaurant because there were no more available tables at that time for us.
Hopefully this comment reach out to the right person to address the management issues at this location or the lack of communication between the staff. We followed all the directions and indications given by the staff, and we ended up paying the price by not having service at all and had to leave the place after we...
Read moreI took my wife and daughter to your restaurant on 05 may, 2018. I have tried to speak to a manager 7 times in the last few days since and they refused for me to speak to one.
I was waiting in line for about 15 to 20 minutes and then some local islanders got in line behind me. I am white by the way. The woman who was the hostess, who also looked like a local islander, went straight to the two women behind me and asked "Table for two" when I stopped her and said we were here first and table for three.
She gave me a look and then said right this way in a grumbled voice. We were then seated.
We then waited for 40 minutes, many times attempting to talk to a waiter, and were never asked for our drink order or our food order, while three other families, who also looked looked like locals, were given drinks and food and one of the families were on their deserts.
So we stood up to walk out and as we were leaving, one of the waitresses gave us a look and said you have a good day and gave us a big smile.
So if a manager does look at this, i hope you read this and see how your employees are treating specific people.
