New Genki Ramen — Restaurant in Oʻahu

My husband & I came with a friend to eat here at the New Genki Ramen in Mililani Mauka tonite. We was enjoying our food & was having a nice time each other's company. Lo & behold, as I was drinking my cup of water I noticed something in the cup. Shucks, I only wished I took a picture of it. I quickly called the waitress to let her know quietly. She didn't know what to tell me & just exchanged it to another cup of water. My husband & friend both agreed that it looked like part of a small slug's body. Aaagggh!! I just couldn't eat after that. The waitress came back & said it was just a piece of paper. It sure didn't look like paper. I couldn't eat after seeing what I saw or even drink any water from another cup. I just didn't have any appetite. The waitess didn't think that it was a problem. No apologies of any kind. I am shocked that there was not a care of what I experienced. We went to eat early dinner everything went well but when we got our food it was so dry and the noodles were not fully cooked because they are all stocked together but we just went on because our kids were hungry. Then we finished and asked for the check and I went to pay and the lady with a old hair style told me that i need to give tip (which i usually do) but she just grabbed the $5 out of my hand and gave me $1 back and i asked what was that for and she said tip. I was upset because first she just grabbed it out of my hand and second she thinks that her tip would be $4 🤦‍♀️ and she looks mad when I was about to leave looking at me up and down ! I do enjoy coming here from time to time. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. I don’t like that they give the food as it comes out. I would prefer to get all the food one time. For example my daughter got her food first and a few minutes later my husband got his after, then myself and lastly my son. Between when my daughter got her food to my son who was last, it was probably a good 10-15 minutes. Our gyoza also did not come until after all the food came and my husband had to ask for the other order so by the time it came we had pretty much eaten all the other food already.
