Great spot in Waimea for a quick grab and go meal. Came around 8am and many of the popular dishes were already sold out, so come early! Big portions, good price, no frills, friendly service. I’m not sure how they managed to keep the Korean chicken crispy despite being packed into a plastic container, but it was such a treat to eat on the beach!

Earl's lunch shop, there's nothing like it! It reminds me of the old school Hilo bento shops. They sell simple yet tasty bentos and bento rolls. I highly recommend this place as it's a locals favorite. Go early because this shop is so popular they sell out fast! Our favorite is the Korean chicken bento!

Delicious food for a good price. There was still good food at 11:30 am on a weekday but some things were sold out. There are a couple of picnic tables outside.

Earls is great local plate lunch. I tend to like the sandwiches, and if you get in before 8 am they will make you a custom sandwich(I get the fish/egg combo) and its so much better hot off the grill! They also carry a few bakery goods from Standard Bakery, which is one of the Big Island secrets for yummy baked treats.

I gave five stars because they're AWESOME but I don't want people to think they're coming to some place with high end gourmet food and excellent tableside service. They are five stars because they're always friendly to me and the food is on point...

Tourists, if you want to eat like you live here, and have somewhere you can go to eat take-out, this is a great choice (especially if you're headed from wet side to dry side, as it's all right turns) What it is: the best value for yummy lunches in town. You can feed 2 or 3 people with a large plate. What it's not: a place to sit down and eat, or to have a wide variety of options. Try the Korean chicken. It's great. I'm a bit of a breakfast traditionalist, so I don't love those options, but it's a great...

Disappointed that the lady who ordered before me got much more than I did and we ordered the same size lunch plate. I’m not sure if it was a local/tourist thing but it was obvious that I got much less food the other people in line. She had 3 pieces of chicken and I had one tiny piece in the to-go box. Next time I will get the premade bento roll, if I go back. Don’t bother ordering a lunch plate if you’re not...
