Good Eats — Restaurant in Hawaii

Our guide with Waipio Valley Shuttle recommended Good Eats, describing some of the dishes during our tour and I knew we had to go afterwards. So very glad we did! The Hawaiian Plate had a little of everything and was excellent!!! The pork—a high point for me and my wife devoured the fish after giving me a taste. Everything was spot on! The food truck outside the area was nice. The food was not very good, though. The cost was $17.00 for the meal and $3.00 for the soda. The veggies tempura was not great. The carrot tempura was barely cooked it was almost crunchy. The shrimp tempura barely had any shrimp inside. It was like one shrimp was cut into half pieces. We went to Big Island for 10 days. Most of that time on Kona side but we wound up all over, we like small towns. I'm going to say this is the best food we had hands down. Hawaiian plate for my wife, Korean for me. It started raining and howling wind as it does out there and we had a great time. Food was fantastic.
