I've been coming to Mediterranean Grill since it opened in 2014, and itâs truly become a beloved part of the Haiku community. Over the years, it has served countless happy customersâalways delivering full bellies and heartfelt food made with love. Earlier this year, a delightful couple took over ownership, bringing with them a wave of uplifting changes and thoughtful upgrades to the menu, space, and overall ambience. They've infused the food truck with a fresh new vision, and their passion has only amplified the impact this wholesome spot has on our town. The updated menu features some exciting additionsâlike a new spicy, zesty hot sauce made with tomato, onion, and garlic that pairs beautifully with every dish. They've also added fries, and the spicy version is my go-to snackâcrispy, bold, and satisfying. One of the standout upgrades is the falafel. The new recipe uses fresh organic chickpeas, real parsley, garlic, and lemon juice. Each piece is crispy on the outside, light and flavorful on the inside, and incredibly filling. Every dish bursts with freshness, generous portions, and unmistakable care. If you're visiting Maui, Mediterranean Grill is a must-try. And if you're a local who hasn't stopped by in a while, you're truly missing out! Theyâre now open seven days a week, rain or shine, from 11 AM to 8 PMâperfect for those evenings when Haiku Market is closed and youâre looking for a delicious dinner. Mahalo nui loa to the team for...
Read moreUpdate- Interesting response from the new owner "blaming" me for the problem yet it's clear from other reviews I'm not the only one who noticed their atrocious falafel quality (bland and old/stale).
The truck was recently sold/changed ownership and hopefully the new owners can figure out quickly how to make quality food but for now it's a big NO...
Mediocre (not to be confused with Mediterranean) and overpriced food. 3 or 4 pieces of old, stale, and cold falafel in pita bread with some shredded cabbage for $16, seriously? This "falafel" is an insult to Mediterranean cuisine. It was dense and bland and had zero herbs (falafel should be green inside). The pita bread is no doubt store-bought... For this price the falafel should at least be freshly fried to order- not something that's been made hours or days ago and sitting in a fridge! And babaganoush is more like a garlic dip than what it's...

Rick has moved on to Le Bazaar in Kihei (highly recommended!!) and has apparently taken the aloha and amazing food with him. The new owners try. It's just no longer perfection. I no longer go here so I can keep my happy memories from here alive đđ A Hui Hou
