We chose to stay at Makena Surf, a decision filled with personal meaning. We were married on the beach in front of the old Maui Prince back in 2004, and later named our daughter Makena—so returning to this spot was deeply sentimental.

Makena Surf exceeded every expectation. The lush tropical landscaping, filled with vibrant Hawaiian flowers, made every stroll feel like a dream. The sunsets from our lanai were nothing short of magical—each one painting the sky in breathtaking colors.

We just returned from a fantastic family vacation in Maui and stayed at Maui Kamaole Unit I216. The condo was immaculate, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, including beach gear, a full kitchen, and even items for BBQing outdoors. The lanai was perfect for relaxing after a fun day in the sun.

We had so many memorable experiences during our stay from surfing and snorkeling at Molokini to grilling outside and enjoying sunset dinners. The kids made so many positive memories and they're still talking about the turtles!

We booked a 2 week stay in Wailea through Maui Vacation Advisors (MVA). Ke'ala and Jymmie-Ann (Guest Services) were amazing and very hands-on. Both were very professional, thorough and organized. Answered our many questions as we chose a property and provided us with many suggestions on things to do and where to eat- especially local food. Once on Island both followed up to see if we settled in well, needed anything or had any questions, and helped us arrange for a late check out (red eye flight home). We wanted to use a 100% Hawaiian owned and operated company and MVA, because of Ke'ala and Jymmie-Ann, did not disappoint.
