I have ordered from this place numerous times because it's local and the food and prices are decent. However I always have an issue with every order. Today we placed an order and this was the delivery ticket that came with my order. It doesn't contain the delivery instructions my wife wrote for this order where She specified to leave our order on our porch. The driver obviously can't see my delivery instructions so the driver called my wife several times to say she was outside waiting for us to get the order. This is extremely an inconvenience. How can any driver understand this ticket? Also the back of the delivery ticket Contained info from another client. They compromised another clients home & tel info without a care in the world. Are they that busy & thrifty that they have to recycle paper? They also use black marker on the tin foil to write specs of orders which the ink can seep into the food. My wife called them directly to say the order was incomplete and the young lady didn't apologize for the inconvenience. She said we could either call Uber or wait a long time to have the sandwich delivered to us. She stated they were very busy and she couldn't give us an estimated delivery time but that it would be delivered. We waited about 25-30 mins and called to ask for a delivery status, the same young lady said that the order wasn't a priority because they were too busy. I said they should have made it a priority bc they messed up. I asked to speak to the owner or a manager and I heard her speaking to someone saying that I was asking for the owner and mentioned someone named Frank. The other person said "is that the order from Uber and the lady driver?" She said yes. The other person said "we are busy so tell him to complain to Uber!" She then hung up on me. I called back and asked why she hung up and her reply was oh I thought you had hung up. I then said ok thank you and hung up. What a horrific experience. Business owners need to be present at their establishments or hire people who care about the...
Read moreI get my breakfast every morning here before work. Their prices are better than any other spot...sometimes the hash brown is slightly overfried but I like crunchy so doesn't bother me. They make my eggs perfectly how I like them every time. I've also ordered sandwiches. Their spicy chicken hero slaps really good and it's like $7. And that's a full fledged 12 inch hero, and they pile on the chicken. They don't cheap out. Ok so getting to the atmosphere. Love these guys. Good groups of guys who get up way earlier than us to prep food for our bellies to enjoy. Always welcoming when I walk in and they know my order now I walk in and one of the give me the nod acknowledging my usual and within 5 mins I'm out the door. Dont forget to throw a buck or two in the tip jar. Very well deserved! They work hard and are a staple in my life and the community. Thanks guys for making great tasting food at prices that we can afford!! See you guys...
Read moreHonestly, I’m disappointed to say that this was the worst bagel I’ve ever had.. and I’m a Jersey girl so I’ve had a TON of bagels. I was recommended to come to Bagel Express by a friend who was familiar with the area so I took his word for it. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese and a hash brown.. the bagel was hard and my sandwich was made super quick, but came out cold. The hash brown was burnt and tasted like straight oil. I’ve had Bagel Emporium in Midland Park prior to this and their food is 100x better than this, but I wanted to try something new. The customer service was okay at Bagel Express, but I figured it was because the food was so good and they were busy. Turns out the food was not good at all and made without a care...
