China King — Restaurant in Hawthorne

China king turned out to be China whatever. Half the food was good half the food was bad.

The sweet-and-sour chicken was to die for along with the eggrolls and spring rolls and the rice was OK.

Do not get the orange chicken or the vegetable dumplings as they are doughy and the orange chicken had a weird aftertaste and tasted like the dough around the chicken was old. Consistency of a scab.

Customer service was also 50/50. The young boy was nice but when I asked him if we could get the lunch special instead, it seemed like it was pulling teeth for him, so we just went ahead and paid full price for the quart.

As I left, I said goodbye to the cooking staff and not one of them waved goodbye as well so there you go I will never go back again because there’s so many options out there.

Why go to a place that doesn’t want to help you save money, does not want to say goodbye and at best 50/50 food. An honest review from an honest...

I am the last one to write a review usually but this people need to know it’s disappointing This place is terrible after making me wait 20 minutes. They hand me something to taste like a three weeks old that old oil taste from the chicken and the rice.
