Here I will outline the good and bad about Tastee Pizza...
The Good:
-Fantastic Food (they use good ingredients), as you can tell when you bite into one of their sandwiches, salads, or pizza.
Great People working there (the men and the women that work there are very friendly and willing to strike up a conversation as long as they aren't too busy, genuinely very nice counter girls/women that make you happy to bring your business to the establishment)
The owner.... very nice dude, works hard, is very involved with the process of making pizzas, and overseeing the operation (he does so in a way that the employees there are comfortable and every time I have been in there he has been very kind to employees and guests alike.) Situations like this are a make or break on where I personally prefer to dine and spend money @!
Back to the food, the chicken cutlet and fresh mozzarella sandwich is to die for, get a little balsamic on there and it is a true, fresh delight (also, if you say light balsamic, they actually put on light balsamic, not too little, not too much, unlike other places that will remain un-named)
They have great drinks, not a super massive selection, but if you are looking for something, if they don't have that exact thing they will have something that will most likely satisfy your thirst.
The Bad:
NOTHING! In my opinion, this is a great local pizzeria, and having this place in my town is a true treat, and a go to when I am feeling hungry, you really can never go wrong, I've never had a BAD MEAL!
For this post, and for all future posts, I would like to outline that this establishment has not asked me to write this review, nor would I if any did, I write my reviews from the heart, and am as honest as possible in writing them!
Thank you Tastee Pizza for time and time again being solid and consistent, I appreciate all of you there and look forward to ordering some...
Read moreI have been a customer for a little over a year and myself and my children order from here regularly, occasionally I will give my children my card to order. Today when the delivery guy dropped off our food he asked my 12 year old if he had a tip. When my kid said no he then asked if he can take a tip from the card charged. Of course my kid is not going to say yes to charge extra to a card that does NOT belong to him obviously. He then got nasty and very rude with a CHILD. The correct thing to do should have been for him to tell the child to ask his parent if this was ok. I also told my child to next time just ask me and of course I would give a tip. But when I called to complain, instead of the manager just apologizing he justified the drivers behavior by stating that they work for tips and went on about car insurance and other expenses smh instead of understanding my concern that this was completely inappropriate for him to talk this way to a CHILD. This also could have been resolved had they asked from the beginning “would you like to add a tip for the driver” the way most restaurants do before they charge the card. ESPECIALLY when you hear a child making the order. Not that this makes a huge difference on whether we should tip but I also wanna mention that we live less than 3 blocks away from the establishment. And tips are...
Read moreA restaurant my family has gone to for many many years. Three generations have frequented there. Someday soon I trust it will be four! Tastee Pizza has the best pizza I have ever had. The thin crust is perfect. Their combination of sauce and cheese is so good. Pepperoni pizza is a favorite. Another favorite is their sausage and pepper sandwich. Their menu has a nice variety of selections. I have recommended Tastee Pizza to many others thru the years. The staff has always been very pleasant. I trust they will be in business for...
