Beautiful new building, but employees just do not listen to you. You better ensure you check your order before you even move your car in the drive-through (which then makes the employees mad at you because it makes their service times longer). Items are typically missing or are wrong. In addition, I always order extra fry salt on the side, always. I tell them up front at the ordering box I want extra fry salt on the side and I will pay whatever they want to charge me, but I want extra fry salt on the side, not fries with no salt, but fries with regular salt and a container of fry salt on the side. I place this same order multiple times a week. I never get fry salt. I check my order before I move my car, they get upset because I ask for whatever else is wrong or missing in my order (which 4 out of 5 times is an additional item and my fry salt). It is beyond me why an establishment is upset that I want what I paid for. I chose to utilize the drive-through. If they can't get the drive-through process correct, that is an internal issue; it's not mine, and I should not bear the brunt of their adolescent actions. I can, and actually may now, as I write this review and actually realize how often this happens. This is a new location, closer to my house and has allowed me to avoid the traffic of The Exchange, so I have tried to patronize this location as much as I can because my husband prefers Jacks. I actually prefer Chick-fil-A, obviously, the fry salt of Jacks is the main attraction for me. There are some internal issues that really need to be addressed at this location. Perhaps it is time for District Management to take some time and provide some support to this location to help them be successful. Jacks is a MUCH LOVED restaurant in southern culture. Invest appropriately so this location will be around for many, many...
Read moreWent to pick up a quick bite to eat and was planning on using the drive thru. However, the wrapped around building line quickly put the kibash on that idea. So, looking inside I only saw one person in line and I made the decision to walk in and place my order, thinking that may be faster than sitting in line waiting. This was a mistake. The person that was waiting had already placed their order and politely moved to the side when I approached the counter. After waiting for more than ten minutes (with people walking around to and fro from the kitchen to the counter to the office to the back, to the drive thru to the kitchen) - an exasperated employee made an appearance at the counter with a bag (probably with food inside) they they tossed on the counter for the nice lady that had politely moved when I walked up to the counter. I'm still waiting patiently, thinking to myself that maybe it will be time to place my order. How wrong I was. The exasperated employee, after tossing the food on the counter, quickly disappeared into the kitchen area - not to be seen again. After another 5 minutes, a nice young lady made her way from the office to the register and asked what I would like to order today. I ordered a double biscuit and gravy and a stack of pancakes, when she sadly informed me that breakfast was no longer being served and that I would need to order from the lunch menu. I thanked her for her offer, but declined. In all, I was probably in the building for about 45 minutes and not another soul had entered during my short stint. I will not be going back to this location (on Hwy 160, just outside of Hayden AL), I will take the extra 10 minutes and drive the the location in Warrior where it seems they are less...
Read moreCame to Jacks instead of going to a local mom and pop to grab a quick bite on the way to a job I was doing and got the rudest cashier in the world. When my wife tried to place her order I was standing behind her and could here what she was saying and the cashier was going yeah what else doe you want, then when my wife responded she was asked again no what do you want your burger like and my wife repeated what she had said the first time she was asked an additional 3 times and the cashier was ruder and ruder each time. No one was wearing name tags or I would have thrown her under the bus in this review. As far as mine I ordered my food and when I tries to get my drink I noticed there was no syrup in the coke. So I wanted in line again as to not interrup the other customers to only get walked away from when I reached the counter. When she came back bye I asked mam are yall out of coke in which I was responded to as yeah. I am not saying I would like to be called sir but damn if your having g a bad day don't take it out on the customer. After all we are the reason you have a job because we are willing to come and by your food. As far as the food goes my tomatoe was like it just come out the freezer it was so cold I had to take it off my burger.and my other problem is why leave a ladder up at the front counter where everyone has to order there food. Did not get her name but hear is a side picture view of the...
