El Molino Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hayden

I have been here many times and had great service and food tonight was completely opposite tonight the service was terrible and the food didn’t have any flavor took 10-15 mins to be seated and there were several tables open and enough servers when seated server took drinks and waited and 10 mins or more for chips and salsa the table that showed up after us got seated as soon as they walked in and also got chips and salsa before they got there drinks asked for extra steak on quesadilla and there was like 8-10 little bitty strips of steak and that was extra and if I wanted more they could charge more then they brought out the wrong food to other people in our group and then when we asked for more salsa was told they are only limited to a certain amount of salsa at a table and then when the owners/manager came out got rude with us about the salsa. We had 7 people at our table and was only brought 2 baskets of chips and 4 bowls of salsa and neither got refilled then we asked for our check a different serve came to our table and thought we was talking about the staff and had a attitude about it and was very rude and unprofessional about and then thre our checks on the table then when we start to leave we tell the managers about the server and they didnt say anything about it will never be coming back and we usually come there during lunch and dinner even 2 times a day sometimes...

This place is horrible! The menu says food made fresh "daily." It was not fresh at all. They put the plates under the heat lamps and get them red hot (even our young children's plates) then throw lukewarm food that was just heated up on it and serve it. The "steak" in the fajitas and tacos we ordered was gristle and fat. The kids' chicken fingers were mostly breading and loaded with grease. It took forever to get a server to the table and when he showed up he was rude and was literally talking on the phone. The second server that came to the table to bring us our food went to 2 other tables before bringing our food to our table and she didnt speak English, so asking what plate she was holding to figure out where it went was difficult. They never refilled our drinks and it took forever to get our bland food. It's a shame that this is only one of a couple options in this town and it won't last without a change in management/staff. I remember going here in the past and the quality of the food being less than par. Maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about but the last visit I made to this establishment had improved on my many complaints. The salsa, cheese dip, and guacamole are all delicious and paired with the included chips makes a killer combo. The salsa here is so good I can just drink it, many a time I'm tempted to go here for their salsa. Their sauces aren't the only place they excell, their food is incredibly prepared. The rice has the correct amount of moisture, the refried beans are incredible and delicious even as cold leftovers, the meat is juicy and delicious. Service is just fast enough to not leave you waiting too long and their seats are plenty comfortable as to not leave an uncomfortable experience. In summary I haven't enjoyed it in the past but my last visit exceeded expectations and I can't recommend this...
