OOEY GOOEY SMOKE BURGER — Restaurant in Hazelwood

This is my 2nd time ordering from Ooey Gooey Smoke Burger & I will continue to support this Black Female Owned business. I love the simple concept of this business & the Customer Service that U receive when U 1st enter is something that is rare & unseen in alot of businesses. I decided to try this business, because I'm a Foodie & former Chef & Kichen Mgr. who enjoys visiting new & rising eating establishments. Ooey Gooey takes the time to give its customers a quality meal. I have a Mother who is not really crazy about Burgers, but after having 1 Smoked Burger, she couldn't stop talking about the place & I ended up going back. My 1st time I actually ordered inside the establishment & the owner is very personable. What really stood out to me about her is her passion for her business & the customers who come in. Alot of employees just look at a job as a job & they just coast hoping they get through the day to day grind, but she genuinely enjoyed her job. The Burgers are more than a mouthful & filling. I love the option of customizing ur Burger ur way. The French Fries were tasty also. The Shake was addicting(I had Bananas, Reese's PB Cups & Oreo Cookies) mixed into mine, it was sooo thick I couldn't get it through the straw(Lol). The OG Coleslaw is perfect on any sandwich. It has a bite to it, if I was eating it by itself I would put a lil' sugar in it, but on any sandwich it is perfect & compliments it. My 2nd time visiting I ordered online & my order was waiting on me when I walked in & the whole order was correct. I am waiting anxiously for her business to really boom & start expanding. If ur looking for a quality, great tasting, big burger that will fill U up & a business that gives U excellent Customer Service & appreciates ur business & treats U like ur important, then U need to checkout "Ooey Gooey Smoke Burger". Our daughter gets really nervous at new restaurants & trying a new style of food, but both employees were so kind & patient. They let her sample a couple things to see if she would like it on her hot dog. She really liked the coleslaw & they even asked if she would like another small side!

Our son will eat pretty much everything but they still took the time to make sure they got everything just right on his burger, too. He ended up saying it was a little too big for him (he's 6'3" & about 250#). The sauce ended up dripping down his arm & he said 'that's how you know the food is good!' He's not wrong! He also really liked the design of the fry bag and they even gave him an empty one.

All fountain drinks are $1 & that's pretty awesome! We bought cookies to go but waited until after my husband & I's 3-mile walk to enjoy them! They were definitely worth the wait!

I especially love that when you finish the burger or dog, you get a free little salad afterwards to enjoy! Oh, we got an order of large fries to share & they were so flippin' good! Hot & crispy on the outside & just right on the inside. They weren't too greasy either.

There is a sign on the wall that says 'feed me burgers & tell me I'm pretty' & I really wish I would have thought about getting a picture of our of daughter standing in front of it while taking a bite of my BLT! I guess that gives us another reason to go back.

Let's start with the fries, most crispy tasty fries I think I've ever had certainly top three. Now to the star of the plate, the burger. The burger is quite intimidating when you first see it The bun is nice The grilled onions that I selected were very good The onions flavorful soft really added and complemented the burger The patties were cooked perfectly juicy could have used a little more salt would have certainly raised the rating but very good The cheese was melted at some point in time but started to congeal because I didn't eat it right away but ultimately the burger was very good I'd give it a 9.1 out of 10 so a very good burger.

I chose the ooey gooey sauce which I think was the best option for me it added certainly a flavor and again it was just a compliment to the burger but don't give me wrong The patties themselves stood out perfectly cooked super juicy and moist. Now the atmosphere it's a little smoky inside so be prepared if you're going to eat inside be prepared to smell like delicious food when you walk out but if you get it to go that that won't be an issue at all The service outstanding! The staff that were there were very attentive to what I was looking for to my needs to make sure I knew where things were to make sure I was enjoying my food and the experience of eating my food...
