After "The Rebel" closed down when i was a child this place this place became what i felt was the last true bastion of southern comfort food in the area. It has went under new management by a family whom reportably owns several additional restaurants which would at first glance bring promise to experience. I remained optimistic with this promise but after a few months of trying it I've sadly been disappointed as the food quality slowly seems to get worse and worse. The buffet they were known for is now closed. Chicken once so juicy i could not fathom making it myself at home now is equal if not flagrantly worse than any KFC. No amount of salt has brought it flavor, no amount of sauce can undo how dry and overcooked it is. The Drive Through is also frequently ran by child labor, and their website is clearly styled for Asian buffets but with fried chicken in the photos.
