Ordered food with a bunch of people at work. One of my coworker's ordered the general tso's combo and while he was eating, chewed something hard, which he thought was a bone. We jokingly laughed saying it was a toe nail. Lo and behold he took it out of his mouth and it was a FINGERNAIL!!! It was yellowed and gross. I instantly felt sick to my stomach and everyone stopped eating. I called the restaurant and told them what happened. The girl on the phone hands off the phone to the guy who delivered our food. He legitimately asked me if it had polish on the nail. He said he would come and pick up the food since we asked for a full refund. We gave him the food and the nail and he left. We called to make sure they refunded the money and he said that "he checked everyone at the restaurant and it didnt belong to them, so it couldn't have come from them". I couldnt believe that was his response. It was a combo, so it was in a closed container! I felt sick to my stomach all day!!! Totally grossed out. I would never recommend that place to...
Read moreI'm not hard to impress, I was looking for lunch. I got the dragon & Phoenix with wonton soup.
The entree, firstly it was drowned in sauce but that didn't bother me. What bothered me is how can something so wet taste so bland? The shrimp was well cooked but there was only 3 and two or three half shrimps. The chicken was plentiful but bland as well. I asked for no broccoli and still got broccoli, as well as a massive amount of vegetables in an attempt to hide the lack of shrimp.
The rice was rice, it was a little overcooked but was alright.
Lastly, the soup.... How do you mess that up? The wontons themselves are small, very little meat in them and a lot of dough. They definitely weren't cooked fully either. The broth is broth, nothing impressive.
I understand the location is new in the area and I grew up around here, was excited to try it out and I was extremely disappointed. The only redeeming factor about this place is that the staff I saw and spoke to were...
Read moreI don't know what's going on with this restaurant, this is why I miss NY chinese food. I had ordered rib tips from this restaurant again and it's been the same thing several times a box of fat and bones with nothing on them , nothing but bones. Then when I ordered she tells me let me speak to my chef and she then tells me it's by portion so we don't know what's gonna be in the container. But your cooking it so you should know what being put in. And we we ordered chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce and there was no sauce at all and six pieces of broccoli for a large order. People stay away from this restaurant dobt waste your money. Gave them the benefit of the doubt many of times and still the same results. And I only order from them because of the rib tips mostly because our go to restaurant asian wok doesn't sell rib tips. Stay with Asian wok all of there food be on point. This is my last time...
