Both of my kids started right around 8-10 years ago playing Soft/Base Ball, Soccere Games, etc. @this Recreation Park. I also played on these same fields many, many, many years ago. We’ve spent the majority of our lives @these fields & it’s always been clean grounds, trash cans are always put in such convenient areas with quick & easy access. Now the park’s restrooms are very rarely tended to. Toiletries are almost never re-stocked, toilets are dirty (inside & out) the mirrors that hung behind the sinks were taken down & out of the restrooms many years back, & never any type of soap for hand washing. Other than the restrooms being poorly kept up all else there are no complaints. I have had many Great conversations with some great H-Town folks that eventually become “ballpark family”, shared &/or made many memories with one another. These Memories took place while as a team, as a coach, as a parent, as a Momma, etc. Experienced triumph, shed tears, had wins, experienced many losses, too many strike outs, a good share of home runs, a good amount of life lessons, all while sharing with other’s who ❤️ this game like I do. “Let’s Play Ball!”

Stopped here for a stretch break and to let our 2yr old play for a bit. Small playground but it's enough to keep a small child entertained long enough. The main issue is all the trash I picked up so that my son wouldn't touch any of it. There are trash cans provided in the playground area as well as the ball parks, but I guess if the visitors don't throw their trash away the groundskeeper won't bother cleaning it up.

Great small park for toddlers. There was morning dew and moisture along the slides but I intended to have my toddler play for two hours to play so I already had a microfiber towel to wick up majority of the water. We'll most likely visit this park again tomorrow or Sunday when the weather is good at a later time.

It would be allright, if the power happy police would go and worry about people actually breaking the law instead of giving people tickets for parking on the grass. The town has a ballpark and they are going to host a tournament but there is no room to park so alot of people had to park on the grass to be able to watch there kids. And the police were getting off on writing tickets. Ridiculous. So if you go to the park and have no room to park you may as well go home or they will write you a ticket. Luckily I was there early so I got a...
