Had a good dinner here! Located in an old strip mall, don't let the outside fool you. The owners have done a great job of decorating a dreary old space! Chips and Salsa were excellent, chips were hot and the Salsa was excellent. Ordered Guacamole and it was a generous portion and seasoned just right. The owner came by and was very pleasant and happy to see everyone. We ordered the skirt steak and beef quesadilla's. Quesadillas were to die for! Skirt steak was...well, Skirt steak. My piece happened to be very tough (well duh!) not the fault of the restaurant. My suggestion is to change your beef dish to Rib Eye like most other "upscale" Mexican restaurants have. I travel for work and have eaten at a lot of really good Mexican restaurants, but this is my new favorite. First off, the drinks. I ordered a sangria margarita and it was not only delicious, but packed a PUNCH. Ainsley (sorry if I misspelled it) was so nice and made sure we had everything we wanted. Onto the food, I was expecting middle of the road Mexican food, but I was blown away. The brisket enchiladas were sooooo good. And the cheese enchiladas were amazing. Read moreTwo words. Brisket Enchiladas. Absolutely amazing dish. I have yet to try anything else on the menu, so take this review with a grain of salt (no pun intended). I also only ever come to this location for lunch, and it is never busy. Which is a shame since the staff, food, and the location are lovely. Hopefully, this location stays in business because it is a solid lunch and dinner option. The one in Fate is definitely a more fleshed out version, but I still enjoy the charm here.
