Great location! The wonderful porch with its view overlooking Buck Creek and the falls took my experience beyond mediocre to pretty good. Courteous and quick service and very reasonable prices counted for a lot, as well. My sister and I both ordered the Swiss and mushroom burger. The beef itself had good flavor, if a little dry, but could have used a little seasoning. The bun was of the wheat foam variety and didn't really hold up to the burger, and the mushrooms were very scarce. The back of my metal chair was broken in a way that made it painful to sit in, but I just moved chairs around so I could sit where I wanted to. The interior seemed cark and claustrophobic to me. This place has a huge unrealized potential, and has a lot of room for improvement in my book. I would go back. I'm interested in trying their Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Truly, tho', the best part of my experience was enjoying the pleasant summer evening air on the porch and the view past the hanging Boston ferns of the river and falls...

Friendly people but I will say I know food . Have worked in food service over 40 years.Servesafe Certified. At no time is it ok to cook .prepare food without Gloves on . Your hands should not touch food. .The word today is Gloves, Gloves, and GLOVES . Also wash .wash your hands after touching garbage. Cleaning rags cleaning . salt pepper shaker . People Covid 19 is still here . Now the food(. my bacon burger had no bacon and my friends hotdogs was Soggy.

Loved going here when I lived in Shelby County. But things change and I moved to north Alabama. I was in the area on business this day and wanted to go back here. I had the cheese fries which was cold and in the light section when I got there they were cold and the cheese was cold with a weird taste probably from being cold I had the Philly cheese steak for my sandwich it was good the tea was good as well. The lady who brought the food out was very nice and it helped me to just eat what I had and not complain because I was in a hurry to get back north. I'll go back again but I'll ask for fresh fries and hot cheese because it really is still a great place...

I’ve procrastinated this review long enough. It’s like telling folks where one of your favorite fishing holes is. Plenty of locals know, but these folks deserve the recognition. It’s advertised as a deli and grill, open Tu-Sa. It’s more than that. It’s a small town hub. It’s a peaceful view of the creek on the back deck. It’s kind folks behind the scenes, serving up comfort food. It also happens to be a piece of Alabama history. It’s not a flashy big town stop, but a destination worth the ride.

This historical landmark boasts a small restaurant home cook burgers fries and hot dogs. I love the flavor of the bacon cheeseburger I ordered, reminds me of something home cooked. Less than 5 minutes to be served with table service after ordering, semi busy at the time too. I personally enjoy water features so the fact that this is right up against the river next to a set of train tracks may not be everybody's cup of tea. True small town America feel.

A cozy, quaint little dive with a big patio and gorgeous view of the dam in the creek. The food is simple, burgers, chilli dogs, wings, chicken tenders, onion rings.. etc. Only soft drinks and water, but you can walk across the street to the brewery and bring back beers. Friendly staff. Would recommend for a chill, greasy dinner.
