Local Pizza Shop in Hallam, Pa. Took my family of 3 there for Lunch . Total cost $38. That price Included 3 drinks, Large cheese pizza and 3 subs. One Ham, one Turkey boat, one fried steak. The place is small, painted green had inside seating and a small lunch bar. The only menu is one the wall as you can see in the picture. The service! The pizza maker/ sand which maker works hard. He is the only one doing the cooking. Greeted us , wished us well and delivered the pizza to the table. However the girl behind the counter was not personable at all. Actually it felt as if we we're bothering her. As soon as you order, you pay. And she gets your drinks. That didn't happen for us. The couple behind us, knew the pizza maker and the girl. We were pushed aside so that they could order and their drinks were handed to them. While we stood there and waited, and finally asked for our drinks. To which she sighed. We we're handed our drinks and we returned to the table. Our subs come omonths a single paper plate. The plates were collapsing. I had the the steak sub and the grease had soaked through my plate so I asked for a few more plates. The girl would not bring them. Service was not good here. Food!! Okay so the steak sub had good chopped steak with onions and tomato sauce. It was greasy . My sons Ham sub was chipped Ham. The cheapest Ham available. And it was so salty. My husbands Turkey was okay in the flavor but it definitely lacked meat. However it had plenty of lettuce . The pizza!! I did not care for nor did my family. The cheese was rubbery. The sauce had no flavor and there were Zero spices on the pizza. The sub rolls are NOT homemade they are sold at your local supermarket. In conclusion, I would NOT eat here again. The food sat in our stomach like a brick. The establishment although passable clean, has grease stained ceiling tiles through out. There is not a wait staff. You get everything yourself. Including plastic forks and knives, and napkins. The building interior and exterior leave much to be desired. It has dollar store limited decor. This is not like other Jim and Nina's I have too. If you aren't a local, you do not feel welcomed at all. Funny thing is we are local for 5 months and felt like we didn't belong there. What this place needs is a business overhaul. Remodeled, wait staff, menus and someone friendly people to take your cash. Also, to treat New customers the way you treat established customers. There we're no children here other then my 10 year old. Clientele on this Saturday were 50-70. There were only 7 people here the entire time we ate there, about an hour. They do NOT offer delivery and the food was sub par.

Little unassuming shop. Best price point of the year for what you get. Might be a little underpriced. Not sure if that is driven by local competition. Seems they have small & medium selections for most menu items. If I was a business owner or was this business owner I would change the verbiage to regular, large increase pricing by 10-15%. Sub had fresh ingredients, plenty of mayo, cooked well. Hot stuff was hot, except they gave me cold marinara (ugh!!!). Mozzarella Sticks were from a bag (ugh!!!). No seasoning on the Cheeseburger Sub (ugh!!!). Inside was cute with some stained glass, however they had signage taped to the door & visible tape posting about credit card surcharges (ugh!!!), just take those down. The credit card charge communication is so silly, again if I was an owner I would promote a Cash Discount…. think about it (win, win)!!! Counter Service was prompt, courteous.

Oh my! I wish we were locals just so we could eat here regularly. When we first came in we turned up our nose and the very idea of a 🥒 🍕 Pickle Pizza. After the rest of our order was served to us, the owner brought out a pickle pizza and told us to try it, saying that certainly somebody in our large family would be curious enough to try! Oh, yes, we were definitely curious! That was the BEST pizza! In fact, we might just try our best to copy it at home in Charlotte since we can't come here like we would like to. I don't think it'll come close, but we will surely try! Bottom line: *get the pickle pizza* PS - We have a pretty large family and they were very accomodating!

I hadn't had take out since the first week in March due to the Stay Home orders but last Tuesday I decided to order some. I've decided on Jim and Nina's in Hallam because simply put, I trust them. I ordered a large chopped steak and cheese sub and a pepperoni pizza which I shared with a neighbor and I froze the rest of pizza for a tasty treat through the week. It was so good, so I ordered a white pizza today. I've had alot of white pizzas but I must say, this one was outstanding! I really wanted to overeat it but willpower prevailed and I froze alot of it for the rest of the week. Tuesday (my day off) take out from Jim and Nina's Hallam is my new weekly ritual. Of course, it will be nice to get through these crazy times and dine in once again. Thank you Jim and Nina's, for one of the...
