Tacos los palomos — Restaurant in Hemet

Ok hear me out it doesn't look like much but I just loved to Hemet and I was needing a good taco place. So, the expection was low. The tortillas were good; yellow tortillas are my favorite and they were not dry. The meat to tortilla ratio was amazing! The meat seasoning was delicious. I wish I would have asked if they prepared their tacos because I didn't grab cilantro or onions however I did go for the purple onion and chile mix...bomb. Their red salsa paired nicely and it was really spicy which I personally enjoyed. The green salsa was flavorful but I prefer a spicy taco I wouldn't choose their green salsa again. I wish they had radishes but there was not any. The horchata was alright I dont think the girl who served me stirred it before pouring into my cup as it lacked cinnamon at the bottom but again it is a personal choice. Talk about tasty food! Please come here and try it. We had a papa relleno (stuffed baked potato) but it’s smashed down on a skillet so you get fried parts with a layer of gooey fried cheese and choice of meat.

We also had an alambre which is like a skillet with meat, fried layer of cheese and veggies. Meat was super thin cut with the skillet giving you crispy bits everywhere!

You can mix and match meats with is awesome carne asada with al pastor was our favorite!

The salsa is salsa bar style so pick what you want. There are various levels of heat and yummy goodness. Red/green/ guaca salsa/ pickled habanero onions/ nopal salsa/ juicy fresh limes.

There is menudo all week and can pick and choose how you want it. Hominy/ no hominy/ meats etc.
