ABSOLUTE WORST HILTON EXPERIENCE EVER!! IF YOU HAVE PETS READ THIS REVIEW!||I’m a Hilton Diamond member. I stay at Hilton hotels almost exclusively and I will literally have so many points by February I will qualify for Diamond for next year as well. That's a heck of a lot of money I give to Hilton. I’ve traveled the entire USA staying in Hiltons with my dog. I have never had a problem.||I book through the app every single time. The app shows the pet policy for each hotel. It shows the pet max weight, pet fee, etc. This hotel specifically states dogs up to 75 pounds can stay for a $75-$125 fee based on stay length. ||I drove all the way from San Francisco to Hemet with a stay booked at this hotel so I can be near my family in town for Christmas. I went to check in and the woman refused to let me, claiming they only accept dogs under 30 pounds. I showed her on the app where it says 75 and she said she won’t accept that because it’s wrong. She claims the actual pet policy is on the website. I went on the website and there are no details regarding any pet policy on there. I took a screenshot of their policies on the website too to prove it’s not there. The woman working is an absolute liar and is refusing to honor the pet policy. My dog is about 50lbs so he’s not even close to the 75. (Updated in Jan 2024 to point out that the policy is now listed on the website and IT SAYS 75 POUNDS. I was just on the phone with Hilton corporate and the woman confirmed the policy is 75lbs.)||I’m now having to drive all the way back to San Bernardino to stay in a decent hotel that actually follows their listed pet policy.||I’m absolutely livid and furious. Not only do we have reservations for tonight that we need to get to on time, but now we’re going to have to drive an hour each way again to see our family tomorrow. It’s absolutely ridiculous that this hotel will not adhere to their listed policy. It’s even more ridiculous that the woman working the counter was completely rude and callous about it, and went so far as to suggest, “well, just stay with your family” as if every family just has loads of extra space in their home. She also said she’s turned away other guests for the same issue. So guess what, Hilton, you guys are losing money because this woman doesn’t want to adhere to the policies.||Absolutely unreal. This hotel doesn’t deserve to carry the Hilton name.||I'd also like to now add, one month later, that I contacted Hilton since they never got back to me, and informed me the hotel closed the case. I didn't receive a single phone call, email,...
Read moreBooked this hotel with a 3rd party last time. There were issues. Hotel manager said, "Book with us directly next time." So, this time I did. I booked a suite with two queen beds, as I was told there were no King suites available. Arrived to find out the room fee given me when I called and booked the room was now higher for days two and three of my stay. I was told by the person checking me in that they charge more when the hotel has more guests. I complained. Complaint was ignored. "I will be sure to tell the manager, who will be here in the morning." The manager is the person who booked the room for me over the phone. Never heard a word from anyone about it. Stayed three nights. Asked for a quiet room as my number one consideration. The manager who booked me (Desiree, I believe) put me next to a pump room that ran all night. Since the headboards of both queen beds in my room were on the wall next to the pump (or whatever made a loud rhythmic noise all day and night) room there was no escaping it, even with my Calm app trying to compete with the sound of rain. Was in town due to a family health issue and really needed to get good sleep to be able to think clearly about all that was going on during the day. That was made pretty much impossible. I was made to feel from beginning to end that I did not matter, my business did not matter, and that I am a Hilton Honors member did not matter. I was charged more than what I was quoted when I booked, put in a room that was so noisy I could barely sleep, and my complaints were completely ignored, without even so much as the courtesy of a phone call or any other follow up. To top it all off, the carpeting in the room was pulling out, creating the worry that we might cut our feet when walking in the room. Horrible experience. I cannot state it more emphatically. This hotel is not worthy of affiliation with Hilton or the Hilton Honors program and gives both a black eye with the terrible service I received not once, but twice. I will never darken their...
Read moreJust not hospitable. Arrived late in the evening after 10pm and was greeted with a locked front door and then the desk clerk who acted like a security guard and kept me outside while she logged into her computer and checked if my name matched any reservations. I had already checked in via the app but they didn’t send me a digital key. Anyway after standing for too long in the breezeway with my bags I was finally let in. Ive checked in yet they demanded that they capture my credit card separately and then sign a separate waiver for a deposit and everything else they will hold over your head. It not like they don’t already have my information but its not enough for this place. They are more concerned about some fine print then customer experience and consistency with the brand. It concerning when a property does this because this is outside the boundaries of any agreement you have already made via online booking, plus it increases the odds you encounter errors by the staff. They won’t agree to late checkout. Its supposed to be a benefit of being a HH member and being a multi year Diamond I rarely ask for it but this time I needed it. So after speaking with a manager i was allowed to pay for a late check out… well now that money is involved they all of a sudden knew they could accommodate. Just know this hotel will not provide a speck of rewards for status. They are also very proud of their bottles of water. You get two and no more… forget if you want a bottle of water in California with breakfast, thats too much to ask.
If you expect nothing from them then you will be at home, if you come with brand expectations prepare to be bewildered. This was my first and last stay here. Im sure theres...
