He's Cafe — Restaurant in Hempstead

One night, My cousin and I decided we wanted chinese food for dinner so we decided to dine in..We noticed there was another couple in there eating. The waiter who was a short and chubby guy with glasses walks up to take our order. He was blowing his breath as if he didn't want to do his job or take our order. Our food came out very quickly and it was fresh. The food was great but the service WAS TRASH. We never got Refills for our drinks and the guy never checked on us(NOT ONE TIME). We noticed the couple left and it was 8:30pm.My cousin and I we're enjoying our food.The guy continued pacing back and forth in the restaurant. He still continued blowing is breathe and hurrying to clean tables and starting at us, as if we need to hurry and leave. REMIND YOU THEY CLOSE at 9:30pm. We decide it was best to leave due to his urgency and attitude. We get to the counter to pay and he decides to throw the receipt in my face forcefully and had this BAD attitude. Came in for lunch was my second time there knew not to go back after my first experience but I decided to go back but the young lady at the front desk is very rude a gentleman came in as you can see he was blind she was like you can sit anywhere I had to look at the man and tell her that he is blind and she was taking my order she was she was very rude so a young gentleman came out who was nicer I asked him about the Chicken vegetables I asked him was his chunks or slices of chicken he informed me it was chunks which when I got my food it was slices it was very bland and only had two pieces of sliced chicken not chopped chicken order sushi add for me that the ones that I was ordered was going to be hot which they came out cold wasn't a problem cuz I know I ordered sushi but the service that the young lady she she's terrible would I ever visit again no I rather if I read this comment go somewhere else because this place is not worth us coming to they are very rude and just like they just want your money they don't care about giving you...

I should’ve taken pictures but I didn’t. We use to love this place and it has just went down hill we went in to place an order for take out we got orange chicken and general tso chicken upgraded to fried rice. So let’s start with how both my husband and my chicken looked the same exactly the same but his had a small slice of orange in it and I love general tso chicken and this absolutely was not it next the mediocre fried rice which is $4 each to upgrade is ridiculous other places charge half the price. I’m so disappointed I wasn’t even going to work a review I just want going to go there anymore until my husband has overheard another group saying the same thing that they wouldn’t be coming back because it’s just not good anymore. Idc if it does 4 stars trust me it used to be but not anymore and this is college town so hate me if you want college kids will eat just about anything and think it’s good. So I will not support this place ever again a waste of money that I could’ve spent 10 min further down the road with more food...
