Boba King — Restaurant in Henderson

My 16 year old has been begging me for boba, and I’d stopped at this joint before, but was less than impressed with the service I received. Reluctantly, I went to this location again because it is closest to where I live.

First of all, the place has had a face lift and it’s cute and fitting for the fare.

Secondly, and more impressive was the gal who served us. I wish I’d gotten her name. She more than doubly made up for the bad experience I had the first time randomly popping in.

She was kind, knew the menu well, offered helpful suggestions and took her time with us. These little details matter, and in my mind, the difference between a quality purchase and one that is subpar.

The young lady that served us is knocking it out of the park, and I leave beaming when served like this because it ignites great hope and pride in our kids!

Awesome hire; awesome experience, and I suppose it’s true. You can’t judge a book by its cover, or in this instance the first attempt.

Very unorganized ordering system as it was written by hand on a notebook paper and then crossed over once done. I think because of this the service was very slow. They messed up our order and they skipped over my friend and my order and served others that came after us first. Thai milk tea was ok. Was not sweet at all so had to send it back for more sweetener. Sadly I wasn't impressed as I have had better.

Establishment has about 5 tables that seat 2 people each. If you come with a group it's hard to get a table if it's busy. You may just have to borrow chairs to accommodate your group and/or sit separately unless you manage to place some...

My daughter loves this place and the product is great. However, the service is greatly lacking the past few times we've been in. They are extremely understaffed with only one person working. I felt so bad for the young man working today. He was so busy and ended up missing my daughter's order. She was there for almost 20 minutes before I went in and asked why it was taking so long. Not to mention, it's not very safe to only have one person working. As busy as this store seems to be, there needs to be at least two...
