First off, being any type of business you should have your business hours located somewhere in or on your establishment so that your customers are aware of the hours. Well my father-in-law, husband, and I had just finished our job for the day and wanted to stop on our way home to get something to eat, so we seen the flashing sign from the highway. Seeing the flashing sign we pulled in, there were still people in the parking lot so we didn't think that they would be closed at 2 in the afternoon. We held the door for some folks that were levaing the establishment, proceeded to walk in and find somewhere to sit...the ladies of this establishment waited until my father-in-law had taken his seat(he is not old, but he is older), the second he had taken his seat all of the ladies together said "oh we are closed, we close at 1:45". Again it is right at 2 pm when we enter this place. And again I said the sign outside the establishment was still flashing as if to invite customers in, and they had no "hours sign" posted that was visible to my knowledge. So I guess a word in advice: 1. If you close at a certain time...turn your flashing lights off...they are inviting to traveling customers. 2. Post a sign closer to the road and/or highway with your establishment name and business hours. 3. Try not to be so rude when you are explaining to a customer that you are already closed. 4. The more hours you are open being that you are on a very busy highway with a lot of travelers, will bring your establishment more money. I'm sure your food is quite decent, but for they way we were treated when we attempted to try your food, we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. Everything looked dirty. The waitress kept dropping things, but no big on its own. The "buffet" food consisted of a small salad bar with tubs sticking up and wilting lettuce and a hot food bar with dried remains of what looked to be days-old food (we arrived at prime lunch time, btw, 12:30) We waited 30 mins for undercooked fried potatoes, a patty melt on store-bought sliced wheat, Kraft slices, thin bun for the chicken sandwich without pickles, and onion rings with thin batter and multiple onions in the same ring. The waitress flirted with a customer, even sitting at his table every chance she got, while tables, not to mention food bars, glass, and floors, went uncleaned.
This restaurant deserves to be shut down and would have been if outside of its...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband, myself and infant stopped by on the way home from Missouri and when I walked in I had the most eerie feeling Iāve ever experienced in my 26 years of existing. My daughter and I are of mixed race and my husband is Caucasian; when we walked into the building the host was sweet but when I tell you EVERY single person OF EVERY AGE (even children) stopped and just stared at us. We were thinking they were just looking because it was kinda packed so we walked to the emptier side of the building and the same thing happened. I literally could feel the hate and I knew I was NOT suppose to be there. We left of course because of how I felt. And I cried in the car after because Iāve just never experienced anything like it. Iām just posting this review to warn others passing through, if youāre not strictly Caucasian you ARE NOT...
