Gene Record Memorial Park — Attraction in Henderson

I love Gene Record park! It is a lovely little park with a great track! Because our county has a college, you'll see college students laying in there tree hammocks! There is something welcoming about this park, built in exercise equipment, a pond, playground, track, soccer field, two entrances, two bathrooms, water fountains, beanches, art sculptures, pavilion, wifi, barbeques, volleyball net, and array of other things. It isn't the biggest park I've ever been too, but it's growing and such a great place to grab a few miles! Glad I found...

This is a nice park to visit. There are two bathrooms; one at each end of the park. The park has a direct connection driveway to a farmer market area in town. There are two ways in and out. The park is pet friendly with two stations with waste bags. There are plenty of soccer fields and a volley ball net. There is a decent sized playground. You can park at either end of the park. I have been to and through Henderson many many times and had never seen nor heard of this park until recently. It is one of Henderson, TN's "Lil Hidden Gems." It is a BEAUTIFUL park. Very open and a lot of equipment for the kiddos. It is very well maintained; there is something for everyone.
