El Ranchito — Restaurant in Henderson

So wife wanted Mexican food so I googled Mexican food near me... I read the reviews and thought to myself I find it hard to believe that this place is that bad as I'm pretty easy to please. So after getting there service was spotty but good, the cook got my wife's order wrong and my order was well old tasting. My wife's.order was replaced promptly but i was never asked about my order, the flour tortilla tasted like it was a week old and dry as can be like.it was reheated in a microwave for way to long, the meat had no taste at all(shocked!!! Carne asada no taste?? How???) Im sorry to say but when we went to go pay and another person asked me how.my food was and I said I've tasted tv dinners that we're better and taco Bell would have been a better place to go by far and he said he couldn't believe how bad it was either...to say the least management needs to get a new cook 1, and 2 they need a little better service as 2 people cant handle everything this place has going for it...the atmosphere is nice but watch out for the cars in front as if they leave their headlights on you will get blinded!! Maybe in a few months I'll try again before I abandon the idea of coming...

The food was bland. The chicken tasted like it was opened from a can and heated in a microwave and thrown onto your plate. There was only one family inside when we went in and it took forever to get someone to acknowledge we came in. They overcharged us. We was charged for the bowl of salsa they laid on our table when we sat down plus the refill they offered but says nothing on the menu about charging for the salsa? For my husband, my 6yr old daughter and I, without gratuity we spent $53 and my daughter’s meal was cheesy chicken rice and I had a taco salad with a small side of rice. Not to mention we also came at lunch time. I’ve ate at SEVERAL Mexican restaurants and have all been very good. I will never return to this one and it explains why they was so empty to begin with. Called to put a to go order in and ask a question about one of the items on the online menu. My problems with this business were as it follows: online menus are not updated regularly, the woman who answered the phone was rude and hung up on me twice not to mention that she could barely understand me probably due to her not being able to speak English that much, and I only ordered two side orders of rice and one small (let me emphasize one) cup of cheese dip and she put down two cups of cheese dip. My order totaled out to like 18 dollars rounded up which I was unhappy about because I’m very tight on money and need every dollar I can save and not to mention the rude staff. This also wasn’t the first time I had a bad experience with this business, so I will definitely not be going back and neither...
