Went at 8:12 tonight and first 2 spots I pulled into screens were black and didn’t work. 3rd spot we pulled into worked, activated the red button, and Beep! Five minutes later the car beside me pulled away without service being done. The truck to the right of me pushed their button a second time. Still nothing… no hold on, bare with us we are short staffed, our screen still says “red button activated! “ ok, it works so what’s the deal? I see a girl with headset inside thru the covered window. I see a guy as well. So there’s some staff. (My husband wants to pull away, I say be patient they may just be low staffed.) the truck beside us activates button again! A man on the other side of building walks to the front and I can’t see any more of what he does except him anger walking back to his car and then speeding away around the building and exiting behind us. None of the 5 cars here have had service. My husband then makes me aware the time is now 8:31 and patience is no longer an option! We are leaving. (Sign still says red button activated!) At 8:36 after 19 minutes of no service at all to us, or any other person there, we leave. This is very discouraging because I am patient, but someone could politely have stated they knew we were there but bear with them they are low staffed or a machine is down. Read moreThis location is consistently, inconsistent. From it's food quality to it's hours of operation, I just can not depend on this Sonic. Without an axe to grind, my food is always fresh and amazing or cold and inedible; no matter the time of day. As for their hours of operation, where do I begin? This and the New shackle location choose to begin their day at 7(an hour behind most other locations). This effectively misses any business, like mine, on the way to work. Finally, to whomever owns these locations. Find someone passionate to run your business or sale it. Unreliable food and hours like the one "posted" on this sign are, at the least, embarrassing. Moreover, You open on random days incredibly later than 7. You are closed or closing early on major holidays , minor holidays or on any random day in between. This isn't the sign of someone that's growing and thriving, this is the sign of someone phoning it in and coasting. I know that the job market is, let's call it, difficult. The restaurant notes state to specifically park at a stall, press the red button and let staff know that you are picking up a Uber order and provide Order name and order number. It says specifically not come inside or use drive thru if there is one at the location. Second pick up at a Sonic today. Followed same directions given at that other location that was listed for this one AS WELL. No problem. Get to this one and they tell me to come inside. Updated instructions need to be given on the app for delivery drivers if you’re just gonna tell us to do the opposite of what your notes says and tell us specifically not to do. I have no problem coming inside. I do for every other non drive thru or drive up store and have for this one before but the notes has changed. I however have a problem when you’re rude when I tell you what your notes says. So I however won’t be coming in and will avoid future orders from this specific establishment.
