First time we ate there was about 2 months ago. The owner recommended the double cheese burger with gouda cheese! Fantastic and we have been craving them since. But with our schedules haven't been able to make it back with them open until yesterday 3/8/24.. they was busy and I love that for a small business. We ordered 2 of the burgers and boneless wings for the kid. The wings was awesome. The burgers tho.. was burnt dry and just did not taste food at all. Let the waitress know after they noticed we did not eat the burgers. I did not ask for the meals to be removed from the ticket I didn't ask for a discount I was willing to pay full price.. the owner came out talked with us and told us not to worry about the ticket at all. I disagreed but she refused to budge on it because they wanted us to come back even tho I still would have came back. So after the owner told us not to worry about the ticket I laid all the small bills I had I on me the table as a tip like 27 or 28 dollars. Other than I am a believer in giving places multiple chances just because the food wasn't that great once don't mean it's bad could be a bad night ect we will...
Read moreMy husband and I had spent the whole weekend camping in Oklahoma. As we were driving home I noticed this place on Google. The pictures of the food looked amazing so we had to stop. I am so happy we did. My husband had the Winnie the Pooh latte. He said it was the best latte he's ever had. I always go with a sugar free latte and they had plenty of sugar free options. We also ordered sandwiches. I was very excited they had vegetarian options. I can't recommend The Mozz sandwich enough. The portions were also way more generous than most cafes I've been to. Every sandwich comes with a side. Hubby had fries and I had pasta salad. I was so hungry but couldn't finish all of my food. Hubby gladly finished what I couldn't eat. We ordered a lot but the total was only $30. The things we ordered would've been double the price at Starbucks. The staff was also very friendly. We couldn't wait to get back home but we ended up staying a while because we enjoyed chatting with all the staff. It's a very welcoming environment. Next time we're driving through Oklahoma we...
Read moreWhen traveling anywhere near Henryetta, Oklahoma, stop at the Shack for great food, wonderful atmosphere, and friendly service. We stopped there on a Sunday afternoon and our car broke down. Our waitress Kelsy took our order and then proceeded to try to repair our car. We didn't have the correct tools, so she called her dad to bring some tools from out of town where he was enjoying a nice restful afternoon in the comfort of his air-conditioned home. Upon arriving, he and Kelsy repaired our car and we proceeded on our trip. Neither Kelsy nor her dad would accept any payment for their efforts. Great southern hospitality in the middle...
