Teddy's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Herrin

The older bartenders are absolutely amazing! The younger ones are very short, unattentive, snotty and just quite frankly disrespectful. If I walk in and see them, I walk right back out. I made the mistake of staying tonight because I wanted to eat in a peaceful atmosphere and my wife had never tried their food and that was our plan for the night so we decided to stick it out. We ordered an appetizer sampler to split. It was supposed to come with fried pickles, mushrooms, mozzerella sticks, poppers, onion straws, and homemade chips. There were plenty of chips and onion straws but literally 2 of all of the others. I mentioned the extremely small portion of the other items to our bartender (a young blonde) and her response was literally just yeah and then not another word even though I said more to her. I was very polite and she just ignored me, turned around, and then walked off. Definitely won't be staying another night while they're working. Absolutely...

I am extremely disappointed in the decline of service and quality at Teddys. We have been loyal customers for a year and have always enjoyed our meals here. However, our recent experience was a complete disaster. The fish we ordered was burnt and inedible, and the bartenders were incredibly rude and inattentive. Despite sitting at the bar for 15 minutes, we were not even greeted. I had to raise my voice just to get their attention. When I tried to show the waitress the burnt fish, she completely ignored me. Overall, the lack of customer service and the poor quality of food has left us with no choice but to take our business elsewhere. We will not be returning to Teddys...

I pulled in there around 3 pm thinking they're kitchen was open...... Surprisingly there was a state trooper parked against the curb looking for day drinkers....He pulled me over for seat belt violation. Asked where i was heading.... Should have told them Louie's bc that warning turned into a ticket. He hinted he'd be in the area watching ppl leave. Then the state trooper drove 20 feet parked his car at the opposite curve. Needless to say Teddy's or any other bar in Herrin Illinois is not worth visiting. I can see a pattern going on based on the experience of others. Never go to this dump bar.
