Khana Indian Bistro — Restaurant in Hershey

I called the restaurant to order my food for delivery, and I told the guy taking my order why I wasn't using the website to order my food. was because I hadn't gotten my food not today. this happened a long time ago and I have ordered food many times afterwards.by calling the restaurant to order my food for delivery. But this guy said let me call the owner after I gave him my order I said ok. The guy calls me right back and says he talked to the owner and my food would come soon. We hangup, then I remembered I didn't pay for my food.i called back the same guy answered and I told him I didn't pay for my food.he tells me no that I have a credit. It all didn't make sense then I remembered the 1st time I ever ordered I didn't get my food the owner called and said he was sorry, and he did make it right.but that was awhile ago and he must have remembered me and what happened. So today the driver brings my food that I did not have to pay for and a spinach sauce that I love.i gave the driver a tip and said tell the owner thank you sooo much!! The driver said I am the owner!!! I said can I give you a hug!!! and I hugged him.... the food I ordered was soooo good, and came earlier than I was told.but the best part is the owner cares about people and his customers !!!! I will always give this restaurant my business!!!! By the way the food I ordered feed two adults and two kids,and there is leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The owner showed me there still are caring people...

I was with my wife and two kids around 9.30 pm directly coming from Hershey park. The store was supposed to close at 10 pm. I called them around 9.15 pm before heading down there to make sure the restaurant will still be open. They said table will be available, but I might need to wait. When I reached there around 9.30 pm, they told me there will not be any table available. I can order and take carry out. With two tired and sleepy kids at 9.30 pm I didn't have any option to find anything else that late. I told we will take carry out. We were waiting In the waiting area for the food. In the meantime some new folks came to the restaurant, seems like regular customer to the restaurant. Some of the tables were emptied in the mean time. When the new folks came and asked for a table, the restaurant folks agreed to gave them a table. I couldn't just sit and wait to carry out when folks came after me are getting table. I complained, but they didn't address my concern. The new folks are already in the table. Me and my family decided not to buy food from there and requested refund. Even my 8 years old was telling me he doesn't want to eat from here. They gave me refund. We ended up eating MacDonald from drive through. Worst customer services. I will never forget the way the restaurant treated me and my family. Never...

I'd recently started looking for a replacement to Aangan which I used to love and frequent weekly, but hadn't had local Indian food in several weeks (such a shame, I know). My girlfriend looked this place up and we gave it a go and I'm very glad that we did. The food is fantastic in a consistent way and the service was great as well.

I've only been here a few times so far, and am a creature of habit at some places, but the Lamb Vindaloo (ordered as spicy) is always fantastic. The "spicy" is spicier than a typical Indian place, which is GREAT for me. Bring on the heat. It isn't too spicy that it overwhelms your senses and you can't taste anything as it's a great blend of heat and taste. Many will probably want to start off with "medium" before leveling up. The paneer pakora as well, crispy outer, fluffy tofu inner. The ambience inside is inviting, too. A warm orange tone with the tables far enough apart where you don't feel cramped.

Thank you for existing! I wish this restaurant was a bit closer to home as it's always a 20-minute drive, but then again, I would probably gain a lot more weight from eating out every night.
