I lived in Hershey for over 20 years. I needed my wedding rings checked probably 15 - 20 years ago and found The Jewelers Bench. While there I found a turtle broach and fell in love with it. My husband presented it to me for our anniversary. The green stone is mined from the Gettysburg Battlefield area. Years later (maintaining my jewelry checks there) I started asking my husband about a necklace and earrings from this Gettysburg stone. The Jewelers Bench melted down my husband's original wedding band to make the outside structure of a turtle pendent. They also made a palet for a piece of costume jewelry and made a Gold pendent. The most recent fabulous work from them occurred in May of this year, I returned home to Hershey and desperately needed my rings checked. Tried in Florida to no success. In 2.5 weeks the original diamond engagement ring had it's whole setting rebuilt. I'm just glad I did not loose the diamond (my father-in-laws). I had been wearing it for over 40 years and it was in really bad shape. They also reset my anniversary band diamonds into a new band as it was also very badly worn. This little gem (pun intended) of a shop sits humbly in bottom floor of a home in the Hershey area...and yet what they produce is brilliant and beautiful. They custom made a new wedding set for my wife at our 25th anniversary made up of diamonds from her original wedding ring. Then for our 30th they were able to help me find the perfect ring for that occasion.

The staff and professionals here are exceptional people with exceptional craftsmanship. We have loved everything we have purchased here and have been treated very well in every interaction.

I was a first time customer and am defininitely looking foreword to working with them again in the future. The staff was very useful in helping to materialize the thoughts and ideas I had to make up a piece for my wife and I's first anniversary. They took the time to answer my questions, further educate me in the diamond grading system and even showed and explained to me the different characteristics of the stone I used.
