Ceviche Inca — Restaurant in Hialeah

This restaurant is the proof of the idiom “ Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. It is a small restaurant in an old and unappealing mall. I have been there many times and it always looks clean inside but a few times i had to park in the back side of the restaurant and the kitchen door was open and kitchen did not look very appealing but i do not know. I did not have a clear look. It sometimes smell heavy inside the restaurant because they fry fish or seafood. They have 2 small table outside, i prefer to eat there unless it is too hot. Servers are nice and friendly but they do not speak English. If you do not speak Spanish, you may have a trouble to communicate. On the other hand food is spectacular, their lunch special price is very reasonable and you get a lot of food. I love the steak with pasta with pesto sauce. Lunch special comes with chicken soup which is delicious. I like their fried yuca with a pinkish sauce. This place used to be one of my favorite Peruvian food spots. Always on point!! But over past couple years the quality of food and service have gone down down down. Poor to say best! They are completely throwing food out to the public without any quality control. Ordered a whole fried fish which I have had many times. The fish was literally over fried and when tasted it was done purposely to discise fact that fish was not fresh and border like spoiled. Thank god we smelled it before tasting and caught the fact it was spoiled. This could have sent us to the hospital. After this still decides give them one more try and again. Ordered a lunch special and the service was terrible the specials on menu were all diff from what available and the food was ok at best. Beware of this place they serve a lot of seafood which can literally kill u it not fresh....

Bad customer service, food was watered down, the waitress seemed completely uninterested in making our experience anything worth remembering in terms of service. The dish washer guy and cook in the back were staring us down like they were picking a fight or something. One customer sent food back (I don't know the reason) but then the guys in the back were vsiibly angered about it, unprofessional doesn'tquiet describe it. Getting a napkin took three requests, water wasn't even offered, and to top it off, a 15% tip was automatically included which is the most indicative thing you can do when you know your service is absolute trash.
