This is my second review. I'm still so amazed with the staff and quality of the food. Today the nonprofit organization I work for had a small event and ordered 33 lunches, the ladies LOVED the food! La Flaca and the staff did an AMAZING job. Thank you! We'll be doing business again. __________________________________________ OMGGGG. Ok, I'm not exaggerating when I say El Bandejazo is the BEST Cuban food I've had, hands down! Our waitress was so sweet, knowledgeable and gave AMAZING service! Funny story, I never forget my phone, it's always in my hands, after eating at El Bandejazo I literally forgot it, never in my life has that happen, no joke, that's how good the food is. Thank goodness the waitress found it and saved it for me, see, great customer service! I had the churrasco bowl, with rice and the house salad. My husband had the Vaca frita, white rice and black beans. I had freshly squeezed orange juice and he had the soursop juice, it was so fresh, delicious, and not loaded with sugar which is a plus. I highly recommend them. If you enjoy Sergio's let me tell you El Bandejazo blows them out of the water. Can't wait to go back!

Just tried this small place located at the end of a shopping center next to a laundry mat in Hialeah and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The inside is very clean and colorful between the bright red upholstered booths and wallpaper on one side and shining stainless steel open kitchen on the other side. The food is very good and the prices are even better. I had the vaca frita plate with black beans and rice and my partner had one of the bowls with chicken, rice, maduros and fajita vegetables. Both dishes came out quickly and were delicious. Service was great. I'm glad we gave this place a visit. I will definitely eat here again for dinner but I can't wait to try them for breakfast! Update : Have since had their breakfast which was very good and a great value as well as sampling other items off their menu. One standout are the medianoches. Keep up the great food and service.

Visiting from LA. I googled Best Cuban Restaurant. This was the only place that came up 5-stars in the area. I'm like ok. Worth a shot. Walked in, everyone was super friendly and smiling. I explained I was from out of town and asked for guidance (I'm not Cuban) and they were more than happy to offer several things. All food was great, very flavorful and interesting. I had the arroz campesino and tostones. With a new thing they are offering, a milanesa with ham and melted cheese on top. Sounds odd but was actually really good (and huge) seriously, get this for 2-4 people. Will definitely come back when I'm in town. They also make their own fresh OJ. Get some.
