Fritanga El Malecon — Restaurant in Hialeah

I've been hunting down the best place near Hialeah for a plate of Carne Asada, Queso Frito, Maduros, and Gallo Pinto. My reviews are based off the top ranking place, Pinolandia by Flagler & 12th Ave.

This location has great Carne Asada! The portion is good and the taste is great! The Queso Frito was good too, I prefer it a little more crisp but it's good quality cheese. The Gallo Pinto was sub-par, it was a bit harder than I'd like. Overall if I'm too tired to make the drive to Pinolandia, this spot isn't bad and worth the try.

You can dine in here, but the location is small so it won't be super comfortable. I'd recommend ordering your food and eating...

This is a small restaurant with a couple of tables inside. There is food prepared and you can chose from looking at through the glass. I didn't see a menu anywhere. It's seems like they have common Nicaraguan staples and varied other items and the way they prepare them. I ordered the carne asada, white rice, and yuca. The salad came with the meal. I spent $14 and the portion in my opinion was plentiful. I ate two days from it. Overall, it is a choice for takeout Nicaraguan...

It was okay until i started ordering pollo a la plancha and called in my order and they always gave me the chicken hard to bite and super elastic, chewy all the time, even when i asked for it to be more cooked the lady laughed and mocked me so that was the last time I went.
