First time visiting Maruchi Restaurant a very humble place with delicious food. Was greeted by a lady who was behind the counter and explained me how it works. She was very attentive and polite and brought my food and drink to my table #8 even that wasn’t her duty to do so, then She went back to her station. I ordered Vaca Frita and it was delicious made, Fufu of ripe plantains good as well and Congri / Red Beans & Rice mix also very tasty. The stars missing are for the young petite lady that was supposed to be my waitress which was sassy with everyone else except myself, never stop or waited on me or even asked if everything was ok. Ignore my presence completely. To the point that I had to get up and walk and ask for my tab. I asked to who my tip will go to and made sure and clear that the older lady that was behind the counter gets it. I understand that I was in Hialeah and that Miami isn’t best in servicing patrons . I might stop by again when in that town.
1/12/24 Update : Unbelievable same experience as the first time 3 months ago. I guess that I remind the petite waitress to someone who she dislikes.
✅ 4/3/24 Update : Maruchi Restaurant just gained 2 more stars on me,after my today’s experience. Service was much improved all the waitstaff was very nice friendly and attentive. Read moreThis Cuban restaurant is an absolute delight. From the moment you walk in, you're embraced by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The customer service is impeccable—Yanko, the manager, along with Dailin, provided outstanding service and made sure everything was perfect.
Now, let's talk about the food: simply spectacular. I tried the boliche, and it was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, and the chorizo stuffing added an incredible touch. The portions are generous, and every bite is an explosion of authentic Cuban flavors. You can't miss the rice with black beans, which complements any main dish perfectly!
To top it off, the desserts are amazing. The coconut flan is, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. They also serve Cuban coffee, which is the perfect final touch to a memorable meal.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience the true essence of Cuban cuisine. I will definitely be...
Read moreI have been visiting the Maruchi restaurant since 2006, and the costumer service has been declining. Unfortunately, my recent experience was significantly affected by the poor customer service. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. When they ask you how they can help and you tell them that you're still deciding what to order, the girls get upset showing an disrespectful attitude. Additionally, the management seems ill-equipped to handle issues or ensure a positive dining experience. When concerns were brought up, they were either dismissed or handled with indifference and laughing in my face (he needs to be replaced). He told me that he is responsible for supervising 11 employees. It's a real shame, because the food is great, but the service needs serious improvement. I left the restaurant without placing an order, and I will not...
