We went in about 7:45 to order a buffet we paid and told the cashier what pizzas we would like on the buffet because the buffet have no pizzas on it as I made a salad I noticed there was no spaghetti noodles and I asked one of the workers if they can make some noodles or get some out here because it wasn't any and after 30 minutes away and no fresh pizza came out no spaghetti noodles and the salad bar was in disarray went back up to the front to talk to the cashier and she told us there had been fresh pizzas put out and they were already gone but we had been watching for anything to come out nothing had came out she deliberately lied to us no , no pizzas have been put out there and she haven't even put in the order that we ask we love this Village Inn in viewmont and and have for the past 35 years but on this Thursday night it was my worst visits we've ever we asked one of the guys where the manager was but she would not come to the front so the assistant manager man came up and asked what was wrong and we told him that we've been here 30 minutes no Pizza had came out and no noodles was brought out to could I told him there was no noodles on the bar and my wife told him this was a buffet there should be food on the bar he act like he didn't really care at all and we just ask for our money back which he did give us our money back and we told him that we were very disappointed that I've been coming here ever since I was a little child which is almost 40 years and I took pictures to prove what...
Read moreI would give a review of 0 stars if I could. I stopped by to pick up an order. The order was ready. I walked up to the cash register to pick up the order. The employee did not greet me as I stood there. They were folding boxes and the store was not busy. I waited for the employee to finish their task, greet me and hand me the order. The order was ready and I could clearly see the ticket with the order ready and boxed. I stated excuse me as the employee pretended not to see me standing directly in front of him. I informed him the name and order I was picking up. He claimed he needed to "see if it was ready," with an attitude. I thought he was being sarcastic as I could clearly see the order was ready and boxed right beside him. I stated I can see its ready. He stated, "I need to check to see if it's ready." At this point I'm extremely aggravated bc the employee is not being friendly, professional or timely. He kept folding the boxes and ignoring me. Finally another employee steps in to hand me the order bc this guy is being a jerk. I felt like for whatever this dudes issue was he didn't want to assist me. Obviously this restaurant needs to do better with whom they place at the front of house as this was experience was...
Read moreThis use to be the best pizza buffet in our area but in recent years it has continued to fall off, and become worse over time. It's just not worth the money for what you get anymore. It seems like you have to be in a foot race with other tables to even get hot pizza. The pizza bar is so small when there is pizza they arent putting out enough pizza for the number of guests they have waiting in the restaurant. I see that other reviews reflect the same feeling.
Tonight the oven was full of to go orders when we arrived. The buffet was empty and what pizza was on it looked old so we requested a cheese pizza and chocolate pizza. When the cheese pizza did come out we had to race to get it. Then they never made the requested dessert pizza. Bar requests may not be a guarantee but there were 4 tables when we arrived. As we began to eat the room filled up with new guests. The pizza would not have been wasted. I dont enjoy going here for a buffet anymore because Im not going to race other tables just to get a slice of fresh pizza. The oven at this location is not big enough to handle all the to go orders and the restaurant demand...
