I visited this place in the time of Covid last Thursday. I used to eat here all of the time before the pandemic. Anyway, I walked in and was handed a number (7). I wasn't told anything like wait etc. Nevertheless, I was seated eventually. The table had a sticky spot on it like it was not clean. My waitress was nice but did not have a clue about alcoholic beverages. I ordered a diet drink and enchiladas. I finished my meal somewhat. I paid for my meal at the front. I purchased some candy at the register. I paid with my debit card (handed it to the person). He slammed my card down and walked off. No thank you. This bothered me so that I asked for a manager. I was told that he wasn't in. I explained to the young boy at the register what happened and he was just as argumentative as the one who slammed my card down. He did not apologize but said they were closing and busy. He asked if there was any problems with my food. I said "Not really." I asked for his name which he refused and said something ugly in Spanish. The names that I did get whether they told me the truth is as follows: Joel (owner). Renaldo (the one that slammed my card down). I think he is the manager. My server who I think said Juan. At the end of the day I could have chosen any restaurant during this time. I was not valued as a customer. People like this should not have a job in the food industry or customer service. It must be a trend because La Hacienda on Wendover has the same nasty attitude. At the end of the day, noone should visit this restaurant. They don't care, they are argumentative, they don't want to give their names. Just horrible customer service. I won't ever go back and I suggest you all don't either. Go somewhere else but here. Thanks for letting me share...
Read moreI used to eat here weekly but after my last encounter, I will never return. I paid my bill by debit card. The server took my card to the hostess stand (not the main register) and swiped it and brought me 2 copies of the receipt one was my copy and one to sign. On my next visit when I walked in with 2 coworkers, I was greeted with a "you no pay last time" and I was taken aback. I said I most certainly did pay and you swiped my card. He explained I had taken both receipts with me. I said even if I did take both receipts accidentally, you swiped the card and were paid for the food. The only thing that would have been missing would be the tip that I would have added to the merchant copy. I searched my purse and found both receipts. I went online and printed out the checking history showing the debit. I took my evidence of payment and an envelope with the missing tip money to the restaurant gave it to the manager and explained how embarrassing it was to be called out in front of my coworkers and anyone else in earshot. I told him I hope they enjoyed the tip and my previous business because I would...
Read moreI have been eating at La Hacienda for over 20 years. My brother is a police officer and first introduced me to the location on South Main St. We live off of Skeet Club road and the Eastchester location is much closer. However, this location has the RUDEST customer service when placing orders over the phone!!!! So much so, that I have called back and cancelled my order and drove to the location at Bridford Parkway. I am a Healthcare Provider. And when I managed a facility off Wendover, I became acquainted with this location. The service is ALWAYS FAST and FRIENDLY at the Bridford location. The Eastchester location has really went down, when it comes to being customer-friendly! I can call and before I get out a sentence, the man is asking "what else", "what else"!? Rushing me with my order and our order is always WRONG! It's not worth the headache or time! I will stop giving my money to a place that do not value their customers enough to be patient, friendly, and allow just 10 seconds to listen to my order! #POOR SERVICE #RUDE #DISRESPECTFUL TO LOYAL CUSTOMERS #YOU HAVE...
