Wow! Impressed and will be back, highly recommend you try this out. I used to work in a Thai restaurant for years on end in Florida. So let's just say, I'm seasoned in knowing how it should taste! I ordered tofu massaman curry. It was spot on! They know how to make the tofu perfectly! Huge portions and flavorful. I asked for the spice tray and spiced it up to my liking, I mean, hey...I ordered a Thai tea (highly recommend too) and that pairs so perfectly with spicy dishes! My husband ordered chicken and shrimp pineapple fried rice and loved it, he could barely finish it, it was so much food. His only complaint was they don't remove the shrimp tails, lol. I told him he has to put in a little work for his dinner. Oh yes, we had a sushi roll for appetizer: crunchy Philly roll! Mmmmm! Wow, it was spectacular and savory. Some gentleman working was on his A game clearing dishes off tables. I love that, as I'm a server and I stack up dishes as we're done. He was always there to grab my stack of dirty dishes. Highly recommend you try this place, I WILL be back... my next thing to try is the pad Thai and once I do I will come back and edit my post.

DO NOT ORDER CRAB RANGOON OR CALAMARI HERE. To start off, the service was terrible. She treated us like she just wanted to get us over with when we asked for more time to order. Next we ordered appetizers but let me tell you, it was the worst appetizers ever. We didn’t finish them as soon as we bit into it. The Crab Rangoon was mainly bread and the filling tasted funky. We also bought the Calamari, it literally looked like fish sticks and the inside was so stretchy none of us could break through it with our teeth. Also to add that it was very breaded. The way it was cut into triangles looks like it was grocery store frozen calamari. After this we were worried about how our sushi and Pad Thai would be. When we got it, it wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t amazing but it was good. We didn’t leave a tip because we were very disappointed that we spent $80 on this meal and this is what we get.

We're regulars at Thai Herb in High Point, and while everyone raves about their curries, my personal favorite is the incredibly flavorful steamed Kao Mun Gai (chicken rice). For appetizers, you can't go wrong with the crispy fried tofu or the chicken wings. One thing to note – Thai Herb lets you choose your spice level from 1 to 6. But be warned, this is a Thai spice scale, not your average American one! My friend, who can handle a ton of heat, even struggled with level 4. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a cozy, casual vibe. While some might find it a touch dated, it adds to the charm for me. Plus, there's ample parking available.

I am in disbelief at how I was treated at this restaurant today. Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience with restaurant staff. We have dined in and picked up several meals here with no issue. But today when I tried to eat my normal take-out order of curry, I was met with a spice level I can only equate to food I had when I lived in India. My husband, who loves really spicy food, couldn’t even eat it. So, I called the restaurant thinking there’d just been a simple mistake or switch made that could easily be remedied. Instead I was belittled and lectured about how the food wasn’t spicy and it was impossible they made a mistake. It took nearly 10 minutes of arguing to get a replacement agreed to.

When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my replacement, I was told I needed to bring in the previous order so they could taste it to “check”, as if I was lying to them. I have never, EVER heard of a restaurant insisting they TASTE a customers food! I was appalled. I was eventually allowed to take my replacement, and I hoped the incident was resolved. But then I discovered they hadn’t included the rice that is supposed to come with the meal. Another phone call resulted in more lecturing and belittling about how I didn’t need rice because it came with the first (incorrect) order, because I didn’t request it, because the food was never spicy, because I shouldn’t have put the curry over it to begin with... It was one excuse after another. I was also told, again, that the food wasn’t spicy and that the only thing that was done to “fix” the spice issue was to add a bit of sugar and coconut milk to the same curry I was served previously (and yes, it was now insanely sweet and still exceptionally spicy). I asked to speak to a manager, and was told there wasn’t one there. I asked to have a manager call me, and was hung up on.

This is not the way a quality restaurant treats its customers. I truly hope management steps in to ensure this doesn’t...

Literally the worst… the food is max ok ON A GOOD DAY.. try 98 Asian bistro or simply Thai 98 is emaculate at everything… and I’ve only had simply Thai noodles and they were amazing my favorite is the spicy noodles .. but anyways I ordered for takeout coming 15 mins from home and instead of making my noodles spicy level 5 they gave me No spice what’s so ever so bland pale white noodles which is even worse they barely make their food flavorful so if ur dinning in get a spice tray but in general they cook it as plain as can be but I called them to get it redone and drive back so wasted an he driving in total and I’ve had this order before at least 2x with Thai hot spice level and it was good but I yelled at the on the phone because they didn’t even make my first one spice level 1 so I said no I need Thai hot which is their highest and I emphasized that and then they threw in so much just red pepper flakes not even using different ingredients to make it spicy just a whole bottle of crushed pepper flake which is not how they usually make Thai hot drunken noodles the right way it’s edible but what they remade me was just disgusting one single piece of noodle not only burned my younger and tasted horrible they didn’t even spice it correctly just through crushed pepper thinking that’s professional and not homemade winging it and the piece of noodle litterally burned my surrounding skin and mouth too it was terrible and disgusting waste of gas...
