Dynasty Buffet Sushi & Hibachi — Restaurant in High Ridge Township

First time here and I asked the server how the buffet worked. I saw there was a Hibachi bar where a guy was preparing hot food and a Sushi bar. I wasn't sure if we order that separately or what? She told me she didn't speak English and walked away. The selection of food for a "Buffet" was minimal. The guy behind the Hibachi bar disappeared by the time I headed towards the food! There were only a few pieces of Sushi, but I couldn't discern what they were! There were no little signs letting you know what type of mystery food was being presented! Everything looked close to empty! Everything was Cold! I saw that the fried rice wasn't even enough for one serving. I mentioned to the non-English speaking server that we needed fried rice. She all of a sudden spoke English, telling me that there was white rice. I wanted fried rice! I was also unaware there were crab legs on the buffet. That was because there were none out, and the lady standing at the buffet waiting for them to be brought out told me she had been waiting for 30 minutes! When they finally were brought out, there weren't many. They were very small, and those waiting for them took them all! Terribly disappointing.. I will NEVER be back!!! Absolutely don’t recommend. They used to be great but have went downhill. The last three times we’ve went, we’ve been missing stuff from our order. Last night we were missing a whole meal from an online order and we called back up with no answer. Called back today for a refund and she wanted our PIN number for the card? My fiancé told her no we would rather just come get the food replaced she hung up on him. He tried to call back, no answer. I called up and she answered and she said since she didn’t work last night there was nothing she could do. So I asked her to get someone on the phone who did work so we could get this resolved and she just started talking to someone else in the back ignoring what I said. So then I told her to go on her computer and look the order number and date up and she somehow magically found it and said we can pick up the food. Heading there now so we shall see…. Won’t be going back for sure...

This place is amazing! The food is always delicious. The building itself is clean, well kept and cute with decorations. I've dined solo, gotten take out, and brought folks along too. It's always good! And the staff are so sweet, so nice. Very lovely people here! If you need something just let them know. They take criticism very well and don't seem offended if you ask them to refill a food item, or if you mispronounced a word. The drinks are always refilled by the time I make it back to the table. I tried all the meats. They are all great, but I like the fried fish nuggies especially! And those green beans and egg rolls! MMM Yessir, I could eat them everyday. And I pretty much do.
