Jack in the Box — Restaurant in High Ridge Township

I drove through the drive thru at 10:05pm, but when i stopped at the ordering screen there was nobody there to take my order so I figured it wasn't working so i drove to the window and saw the manager sitting in office she clearly madee contact with me twice but didn't bother getting up to speak with me then 3 younger employees came walking back to the office the four of them then started laughing one girl finally came to the window and told me that they were closed bc they only have one person working overnights n that her m the other 2 that i saw are minors who can't work that shift. I completely understand they're under staffed but why would they have the open sign still on in front window as well as all the lights on? And why couldnt the manager come tell me herself that the store was closed? This location always closes the inside dinning area at 10pm but drive thru is open 24hours they still had the hours sign hanging on the window i was waiting at stating those hours. In the past when they have had to close drive thru they had a sign on ordering screen, both windows, and of course the light up open sign off. I just found it extremely rude and disrespectful for her to make eye contact and then laughed with the kids who came in after they were off clock. Thy don't deserve one start but couldn't do a...

March 2024 Update: I'm rescinding my previous 1-star review and changing it to a 5-star. Was there a change in management? What happened? I went back to this location in 2023 and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. Service was quick and the employees were courteous. Every visit of mine since has been a similar experience. Just last week I went to this location twice. I'll probably go back this weekend because now I want some tacos.

On an unrelated note, can this location bring back those disgusting nacho tacos? I used to smash those monsters.

Old 1-star Post: I hate having to write this review because I love their food, but the majority of the reviews written over the past 9 months are on point. A couple of months ago my wife waited 45 minutes in line only to be told at the window that the staff had gone home and they were closed. It was about 6pm. Thinking that was a fluke, I gave them another try. With just two cars ahead of me at about 6pm, I ordered a few tacos. I received my order but it took over 17 minutes (I made sure to time it). I certainly won't be making it a habit to go there like I once did. This location could certainly benefit from a change...

This place should be shut down and never re opened. First off any review that’s more than 1 star has to be a lie. I’ve been trying to go to this location for years. Every time. They are closed. Simply turn u away or they are out of most of whatever u want to order. They say there open till 7 pm now. What fast food place can survive being open till 7 pm none. Shut it down. So I been trying to get a taco from here 5 times. First time. I pulled up they said hey we aren’t taking drive through or walk in orders just door dash. Turned me away!!! Then every time I tried after words they are closed well before 7 pm. Saw all 4 employees in there today just partying with locked doors and a blocked drive through. It was an hour before closed. Then when all the stars align and they do take ur order be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes to get through the drive through. Slowest fast food I seen since Steak ‘n Shake. I’m not being hard on them , like oh it’s covid they are short staffed. No no no. They have sucked since I been going to this place.
