Everything tastes good and service is fine, but the prices can be crazy. I just paid $35 for 2 cotton candy burritos, one small soft serve waffle cone and strawberry lemonade???? It didn't hit me till I was leaving how much I had just spent... On the little screen I saw two cotton candy burrito for $11 and figured it was $11 for both of them, I now realize it was $11 each!. How can you charge more for a cotton candy "burrito" than chipotle charges for their huge burritos meals?? Had I known each of those burritos was $11 I totally would have said no to my kids, but I took it for granted that nobody would be that outrageous with their pricing and didn't look at the price... I don't know for sure that the price was even listed. I took a quick glance at the picture and didn't notice a price listed anywhere, but maybe I missed it. And then to charge $5 for a lemonade that is 90% ice is pretty crazy too. Tonight I asked for light ice to try to get a little bit more product for all the money I was paying, but they still put a full cup of ice with the lemonade. $5 for about 8 oz worth of lemonade is...
Read moreI understand the Twist and Shake is under new ownership but that doesn't excuse the new owner ( I am assuming this man is the new owner) of selling me a large soft yogurt in a small cup and telling me it's a "large". My second visit the "regular" staff (with several years experience) gave me my order in the proper "large" cup. My LAST visit again the owner tried to sell me a large soft yogurt in the "small" cup. When I asked to see the "medium" sized cup he looked on the shelf, couldn't find a smaller cup so he said they use the same cup but put in less. When asked about a "small" he said they put in even less. I told him I paid for a "large" I at least wanted it in a large cup. So he scraped the yogurt out of the small cup into the large cup! He realized it didn't even fill 1/2 way up, so he added a little more. Got an attitude. I even had to ask for a long spoon. I won't be back any time soon. He should do himself a favor and let the "seasoned" staff handle the serving. He should stay home and...
Read moreDang this coffee is good but it's super expensive and the staff is a bit grumpy. Some of the ice cream specialties are delicious and worth the price. Others like basic sundays or a cup of soft serve with sprinkles... Outrageous! They got me on their coffee though, I pay the price and deal with the feisty 20 somethings because it's just that delicious. If it wasn't for the coffee I'd never go back. If you're looking to get the kiddos some ice cream after a game, save your wallet and go to DQ. The older lady at the window (using the term gently as in not fresh out of high school) is always a sweetheart... My suspicion is she's the owner. If she could get these younger girls to smile a bit, or maybe throw in a good morning or have a nice day... It'd be the best coffee...
