I hate posting this, but I hope it helps. I actually like this restaurant, the food is great, the prices are great and the atmosphere is great but 2 or the last 3 times I supported this restaurant were horrible experiences and this last time makes me feel like I’m not going to go back. An issue with speed of service because of a short staff is understandable, but when a group is served before you when they’re seated and their party arrives after you is unacceptable, and when it’s addressed with a manager, the response shouldn’t be essentially a middle finger when an apology would have been just fine. Sometimes a complaint is for the workers to be trained to do better for the future and not to try and get a free meal. This place is very close to where I live and sucks that I’m feeling so uncomfortable with the service to not patronize a local establishment.
I did explain the whole situation….I also told you that I understood the situation of you being short staffed and that we’re very patient but didn’t appreciate that another party was accommodated before us when they arrived after us, I was expecting an apology and for you to tell me that you would discuss it with your server, this was a learning situation for someone you said yourself was inexperienced and “freaking out”. The server that “tried her best” walked past us 3 times and never said anything to us, but while we waited made sure to ask the table behind us if everything was okay and took another round of drinks from them. Like I said to you in person and in my review initially, this was the second time this happened to me at this establishment and I was thinking that you, like your short staff were just in over your head, but to know that you are the owner and your response was “what do you want me to do about it” and “you don’t have time for this” is ridiculous. Read moreWe went to b rox for my mother’s birthday. This place was an absolute nightmare. At first walking in tables that were empty were filthy and not being bussed. They told us there would be a 20 minute wait because there were no booths. Booths were sitting filthy. When finally seated after 20 minutes, we ordered our food while sitting next to filthy tables. When I received my buffalo chicken salad I bit down on something hard thinking it was an egg shell. When further investigating there were big half pieces of chicken wing bones from the deep fryer in my salad and I was chewing on small bone fragments . Wings were awful, tough, dry and came with no ranch or bleu cheese. When we asked for the manager she was non existent. 20 minutes of waiting turns out she was the bartender. She said “the wings were bad? Sure looks like you had a good time eating them” I said we didn’t eat them, they are in the to go box. She said she would not return them if I took them home. I gave her the box. She said she would take the wings off the bill. Come to find out she only took 2 orders of wings off the bill and we ordered six, so what we paid for she took from us. She was rude to my mother and said can I talk when my mother was trying to explain things. Told us the place is short staffed and they have no one working. She was very rude. Read moreWent out to eat and watch the ufc 309... Well I walked in and was greeted by a teenager who says there's a $5 per person cover for a reserved table? I said we wanted to eat.... Longsttory short after a few minutes spoke with the bartender who barely knew anything... A nice waiter Exavier was very helpful. Again no beers we liked were available /bourbon as well we're not either...... We got our club sandwich and I settled for a Rolling rock.... My friend ordered a smokey maple bacon bourbon and again was made incorrectly /no smoke/ but it was ok..... Ufc started and music was overpowered so you could not hear.... Asked Owner to please turn off the music so we can hear the fight only to get a " what's your problem the fight didn't start yet" in a annoyed angry tone..... Needless to say we will NOT BE Back..... And no I was not rude nor yelling...... It's sad that what seems to be a decent place turned out to be a horrible experience...... I really felt as if we were an inconvenience to the bar instead of a customer........ The owner needs to learn how to run a bar properly (stock it) and a attitude classes......... Totally...
