The young man behind the counter, (contrary to the absurdly impertinent and bias review of fellow customer Tiffany McKinney) was a benignant and courteous employee who served me with great enthusiasm and a level of skill that I would consider to be unmatched by any other ice cream establishment employee. I have spent my time in the States travelling from parlour to parlour, and no other has offered such a variety of delectable flavours and a welcoming environment - thanks to the employee! I can't fathom what Tiffany McKinney was thinking while writing her review; perhaps she was having a bad day and decided to take it out on this kindly young man. When I ordered my small oat meal cookie in a cup, it was not "flung" at me - it was actually slid across the counter, quite expertly if I do say so myself - and it packed perfectly within the cup. I imagine if one wanted a bag for their order, one would have to ask, which is standard in most ice cream parlours I've visited. Evidently, Tiffany is not as accustomed to the outside world after the lockdown. Perhaps she should learn some manners when writing her next review. All in all, I was splendidly glad with my experience at this establishment and the oat meal cookie brightened my day! Thank you, to that...
Read moreYummy and quality, homemade ice cream! Cozy little shop in Highland Hills. Very polite gentleman helped us. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that they don't offer samples. My husband got the brown butter praline with chocolate truffles and I got the raspberry chocolate truffle. DELICIOUS! We've never been here before, but will be back in the future. Theybare in a small strip mall, so there isn't much parking. They have a sign that says no more than 10 people at a time inside Again, it's a very small space, so that's understandable. They do accept credit and debit cards with an updated POS system. The pricing is as follows: kiddie (2 scoops) $5 small (3 scoops) $6.50 large (unknown scoops) $7.50 They have regular cones for an extra .50 and waffle cones for an extra dollar. Good experience, yummy ice cream!...
Read moreI went out to get a kids scoop of ice cream and support a local business. Sunday memories came up. The women who waited on me was nice through out the process. I did however say to here three times I wanted a kids scoop. Before ringing me up I said, that's a huge kids scoop. Only to be ring up for a small scoop at $3 plus dollars. The ice cream is Hershey's which is not a expensive ice cream. I tipped the women since it's not her fault. I walked away disappointed in the ice cream. The price I paid for average ice cream. Knowing I should have walked away. My goal of ice cream and local business support wasn't...
