KFC — Restaurant in Highland

This visit was literally a joke. It was late and I’m sure the employees were tired and ready to just be off work but it was well before the time of close for the business. So in my opinion the service we received should have been the same as if we were the first customers of the day. The gentleman who took the order was rude from the time he came on the intercom. I am a mom of two small children and a 3rd child who is my husband. Our order is always somewhat slow and indecisive. This has never interfered with being treated like a single person coming through with their minds made up, in and out orders. Because most decent human beings understand mom life and get it that children change their minds on what they want to drink or what condiments they want to dip their chicken in. This guy was just rushing me and just absolutely rude. So forward to the window, at first he wanted to act like my card had issues and wouldn’t work. I double checked and I had more than enough money in the bank to successfully purchase the order. The third time he finally did what ever other employee has ever done when I paid with a card at this particular business and swiped it on the same card reader I’ve always seen the workers use with cards here and it went through. After we waited about 15 minutes our vehicle ran out of gas and luckily my husband who runs a landscaping business had the extra gas in the back of the truck. So he got out to add it to the vehicle and this same employee noticed that he was no longer sitting beside me in the truck and he kinda looked around the truck and seen my husband at the bed of our truck between our truck and the building starting to add the fuel and the employee literally put his hand in his pocket and grabbed his keys (I could see the lanyard hanging out of his pocket) and hit his key fob and locked his vehicle not once but 4 times. As if my husband was literally going to rob something from his vehicle while we sat waiting on our food that by this point he had handed me. First and foremost my husband is NOT a thief, he is highly respected in our community because he is works out in our community every single day of the week. Secondly why on earth would a grown man be so stupid to break into a vehicle as he waited in the checkout line of a fast food restaurant. We are not those people and it felt very horrible being made to feel like we were. Not to mention the landscaping is absolutely horrible looking. We also use to maintain this property, just because my husband got there one day late to trim the 50 or so bushes they fired us the day after he trimmed them and never paid the $1300 bill. So how is it okay to let us go for following through with the job we contracted to do one day late but now let the place look like it has never been touched by a maintenance person. If this wasn't the only place we could go to when needed in the late evening I probably wouldn't go back.

Oh and they of course messed our order up, my youngest didn't get his fries in his meal and my oldest got one of the two chicken littles I ordered him the other sandwich was some other chicken sandwich, and my husband and I chicken tender's was cooked probably 5+ hours before,...

Worse service ever. We very time no matter day or night. Got 12 hot wings and was a 1/4 inch grease in the bottom of the container which leaked out of the container into the bag so when I got it out of the house spicy oil was all over my hand and where I laid it down and stained my white counter top. My girlfriend ordered chicken strips but got original bone in wings. I’m guessing that’s why the young man was looking at me funnny the whole time I was waiting. If I would have checked it before I left and it was like that I would have threw it out in the parking lot. That’s how bad it was. Never again. I would fire every person in there. Pay some money for good workers. Worse KFC I’ve ever been to. You would think not having the lobby open that they could get one thing right. ...

It's a matter of timing it's not like McDonald's. Just drop a couple of frozen patties and drop the clam cooker and 3 minutes later. U got fresh chicken. It takes 20 minutes to cook it 10 minutes for it to cool down and yes . They have to get rid of the old before the new. It's called food costs. So next time just ask what's fresh . It could b wings it could b extra crispy. Could b original or grilled. One of those 4 should b withing 10 minutes or call to see. It's a roll of the dice but when that's chiks fresh look out. But u have to get it right out of the fryer to get great chik. Unfortunately that's iffy.taters and gravys always good the sides r always good.
