D J's Donuts — Restaurant in Hillsboro

I wanted to let others in the area know about our experience at DJs Donuts here in Hillsboro. My husband went in at 9am this morning for a dozen donut holes and 2 glazed donuts for our children. He brought them home and I immediately poured them on a plate to serve. As i poured the donut holes out a dead baby roach was included in the bag. I immediately consoled my crying children because they were heartbroken i wouldn’t feed them the roach donuts and then went on to call DJs. I asked to speak with a manager or owner but the lady on the phone said she was the only one working. I told her about our incident and she told me “We had pest control out 2 days ago to spray and whatever they sprayed outside made all the bugs come inside. They are everywhere.” Those were her words. So yeah, that’s disgusting. She then offered to replace our donuts… but after being told “they are everywhere” i politely declined.

I understand bugs can and do happen but being told “they are everywhere” in an establishment that is knowingly continue to operate business as usual with a roach infestation is quite unsettling and disgusting.

Do with that information what you will, but we won’t be back. This was our last chance for this establishment, we have gave them several chances over the years and it’s always something… but never good. There are way better options here...

Love the new owners! When I go I HAVE to get a strawberry filled donut and a plain glazed. On occasion I'll get a kolache or pig-in-a-blanket but I doubt I will ever have a visit without my strawberry filled!

I've only had one misunderstanding while ordering (It was my fault) and she immediately resolved the issue.

P.s. They put twice the amount of strawberry...

I go there every week and then the Chinese(not to be mean) she so nice that when i go there so gives me a small. Donut when i grow up ima give the buisness $2,000 for the delicious donuts and if you like their donuts i suggest there Ham&Cheese its so delicious with a jumbo piggy it feels like...
