My husband has medical problems and cannot wear a mask. We have never had a problem at any other location in Texas. Even though none of the employees were wearing their masks properly (all of them had masks under their noses) the GM told us the only way we could receive service was at the drive through and that we were making him uncomfortable by my husband being there. He didn't want to let him use the restroom. He then told me it was illegal to record him because it was McDonalds (even though I wasn't recording and he is oblivious of all laws). He told us that medical exceptions don't apply at McDonald's and he can refuse service to anyone (even though he specifically said it was because of the mask issue). He then refused to give me his name, a business card, a store number (not marked anywhere visibly), or a customer complaint number to call. He then proceeded to tell his employee to call 911 even though my husband had left the building already and told me that my family was not welcome as customers there. He made a scene of it in front of the other guests that were there and was very loud about telling us that he didn't care about medical exceptions because it is McDonald's and he didn't have to follow that part of the law. His employees were even initially hesitant to take our order because he was there and kept looking at the GM between each item. There are a lot of other places to eat in the area instead of spending money at a place that kicks out disabled veterans and feels like they are above the law because "this is...
Read moreWaited forever while the group of employees loudly chatted about how they eat all the pies that are set back instead of being sold to customers. Eventually an extraneous drive thru worker asked us if we were waiting to take an order or pick up our food, then yelled across the kitchen for someone to come help us. A few minutes later, someone finally came to the register, and stood there silently just looking at me. Oookay. I ordered Dr Pepper and fries. Oh, the machine doesn't work to sell Dr Pepper. Okay. Sweet tea and fries. The tea was ready before I had even paid. Waited and waited for the fries. Eventually someone came over and asked why we were waiting. They sounded super surprised when we said we were waiting for fries. Finally the fries came. Walking out and tasted what turned out to be an unsweet tea (it tasted like they made the unsweet tea in the empty sweet tea bucket without rinsing it). It was also more ice than liquid. Every sweet tea I've had from any McDonald's has never once varied. This is the first one that was an issue. The fries were warm and tasty (I was super hungry, so my standards were low), but were made with old oil. The bathroom was clean, so...
Read moreThis has got to be the ABSOLUTE WORST McDonald's anywhere. It is always bad, so I guess I should have learned my lesson by now. But tonight it took the cake. Ordered curbside. 40 minutes after arrival, and after I had already went inside to see what the hold up was, the employee brings out a bag with cold fries, missing my McRib, no drinks, no ketchup or sauce, as was in the order. Send him back in. He comes back with drinks. No straws! 3 of 4 drinks were slushies, except they were not slushies. Just the top inch had any slush about it.. Still no McRib, sauce or ketchup. Once again send him back. Wait several more minutes, by now the food we did have was COLD! Tried going in to see what the hold up was and they had locked the doors. This was 7:30 in the evening... Finally brings the McRib out, along with the sack COMPLETELY FULL of ketchup and sauces. Get to the house, there is no sauce on the McRib, and it is on a sesame seed small bun, and the patty is like rubber. Basically I just wasted $35. Might as well just tossed $35 out the window! Food was inedible! NEVER AGAIN! And I would advise if you were thinking of visiting the Hillsboro McDonald's ...
