My fiance and I stopped in today for the first time at Hannah's Diner. We both decided to try the vegetable omelets. I am gluten and dairy free but decided to splurge since there aren't any dietary accommodations for those restrictions here that I saw. I ordered provolone cheese and my fiance ordered cheddar in our omelets. The cheese in mine just didn't taste right to me but I thought it was because I am used to eating dairy free. Took a couple more bites and still didn't taste right. Had my fiance try it and he said it didn't taste right to him either. I brought it to our waitress' attention and she went back and spoke with the cook. She came back with him saying it tasted fine to him. She offered to get me something else but by that time I was feeling sick and didn't want to eat anything else. When she brought our bill she apologized saying she would have taken something off our bill but when she asked they didn't tell her she could, they didn't answer her at all. So she wasn't allowed to. I wasn't looking for a free meal, I was just looking for a breakfast that didn't make me feel sick after I ate it. We will try going there one more time, hopefully to have a better food experience. Our server was very...
Read more-10 stars. We are a traveling business. We love to support local businesses when we travel. We came to get a good hearty dinner breakfast Sunday, Oct 16. We waited 30 minutes to be seated or acknowledged. We thought, well this is the hot spot for good food. 👍 we were finally seated (6 in our party). We waited 45 minutes without even a drink as serves kept telling us they will be right there. Finally almost an hour in, a woman came over and announced that the cook cannot accommodate us. Mind you, there are tables of 2,3, and 4 people all around us. We were told it would be yet another 45 mins to take our orders and STILL they didn't offer us even a drink order. They wasted 1.5 hours of our travel time to be rude and the most unprofessional staff I've ever seen. This should have been noticed to us prior to seating. Yet other parties were still being seated after us. I will NEVER support this business and cannot believe the attitude and complete unprofessionalism of the server. Sad! We will be in that area again, we are a big group, and would have been happy to have been returning customers. That will not ever...
Read moreVery strange. Went in to find a seat and a very angry woman approached me yelling at me. I explained I was elderly and just looking for a seat as a friend was meeting me. She continued to verbally assault me. She had me get up from the booth I wanted and had me go to the back room. Upon leaving a young couple approached me out side and asked if I was ok They said I looked traumatized and were concerned. They said the same woman yelled and treated other employees badly then talked against them to other workers. I told them to forgive her. And just be kind but yes I felt emotionally abused. I had gone to this diner for the past 4O years and as I remember you always seated yourself. They left a note on their table saying for a diner that prides itself on caring for the community they did not. I thanked them for caring enough to share with me, and to reach out to me It was an unfortunate event. I wanted to eat at a lovely place next to the park in Hillsboro but they are closed on Sundays. I hope she becomes more aware of her behavior and tries to treat people better and resolve her apparent...
