8/19/24– On our way to pick up our son from his friend’s place, we were searching for a coffee spot. I wasn’t in the mood for Dunkin’ Donuts; I wanted something different, something with a touch of creativity. I opened Google Maps, and to my surprise, a unique place popped up. One of the reviews mentioned how special it was, so we decided to check it out.
We found the place easily and even managed to park right out front, near the park. As we walked in, the building’s old charm immediately caught my attention. The sound of crackling wood as we opened the door was inviting, adding to the ambiance. Inside, I saw a long table scattered with paints, arts, and crates—a clear sign that this place had an artistic soul.
As we continued walking, the space opened up into a coffee shop. There were tables, a coffee counter, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. What really captivated me was the walk to the bathroom—a small hallway lined with artworks and a floor bursting with vibrant colors. I couldn’t help but say, “I love the floor,” to which the lady serving coffee proudly responded, “It’s Paula’s work.”
This place truly exudes artistic vibes. It seems like a space primarily designed for painting classes, with the coffee shop as a delightful bonus. While there, I found a copy of The Da Vinci Code and casually flipped through it while sipping my coffee. The coffee wasn’t hot, but that didn’t bother me much—though my husband had a different opinion about it.
Overall, I really enjoyed this experience. New Hampshire has these fascinating spots where you can stumble upon artists and writers. You never know who you might be...
Read moreHonestly, it's my very favorite place to be. Paula and her paint/art classes are the best! There is something for everyone there! Excellent chill artsy vibe... I consider it my "happy place". It has a wonderfully relaxed positive atmosphere. Full of positive, supportive, like-minded people. I go as often as I can. A place where you can just be! I truly love being a part of The Village Art Cafe... I refer to it as my home away from home... because there really is no place...
Read moreOh I loved it here. We were visiting from out of a town and the place is such a unique experience. The place is filled with peoples art that they are selling and displaying. Walking around was fun. They had music playing quietly and bored games that you could also play. I wasn’t a huge fan of my coffee or cinnamon bun but I believe I just chose the wrong things for myself. My mom loved both of hers. The cinnamon buns were freshly made and hot! I wish I had...
