Tasty Pizza - Hangar 45 — Restaurant in Hilltop

We've been coming here for YEARS as my dad grew up in the area and LOVED tastys. Tastys is still tasty indeed, but their dining section and customer service is where they're taking the biggest hit.

The dining section used to be HUGE, and you could have a really nice, warm, enjoyable family experience. The dining room has been cut by 50% and feels more cramped and it's dark and uncomfortable. I'm sure more people order delivery now, so I can't say I don't understand the cut back, but it's still a little cramped.

The new bathrooms are god awful, and if you're a male you almost can't even see where you're aiming, so bring a laser pointer(being completely serious lol).

The waitress that helped us yesterday 04/12/17 made the experience pretty crappy to be honest.(blonde woman in her 30's) She wasn't very nice, and at one point had a friend come in; which don't get me wrong is fine, but she ended up talking to that person for over 25 minutes and her coworker brought out our food because it had been ready for a couple minutes. Cmon. That's just sad. To top it all of, she totally forgot one of our pizzas, but luckily didn't charge us for it so I guess I can't really complain.

The pizza is good, but depending on the pizza, a little over priced. if you enjoy regular wings, DONT GET THEIR WINGS. They are not marinated in the sauce, you have to dip them in the sauce and it is not even close to the same as a regular wing (I'm honestly puzzled as to why they don't just coat the wings in the sauce). To be 100% honest with you from human to human, the crust isn't for everyone. To some it's a little bland, but to me it just kind of completes the experience with the melted cheese grease and sauce. But you can't knock it till you try it!

Overall, you're better off sitting at home and waiting for the delivery (granted they get it right). The experience inside has gone from "family friendly" to "bar patron friendly" and the whole family comfort has kinda been sucked out of the overall experience. I'll be ordering my pizza...

I've been ordering from Tasty Pizza for close to 15 years. Occasional minor issues are understandable, but it seems like over the past year, I more often receive my food late or in poor condition (box held vertically before delivery and pizza is either crushed or toppings have slid off). It's become an exception to receive my order on time and in good condition. I know there are staffing issues, however, it's unacceptable to me that these issues are not made clear up front by setting realistic expectations. If delivery time is anticipated to be more than 45 minutes, please just tell the customer.

Last night was the final straw... I will not order from this restaurant again: Placed an order at 8:48pm with a 45m indicated delivery time. Contacted the restaurant at 10:19pm and was told it was out for delivery (I live

7/14/22, called in a 9 piece jumbo wings with one ranch/one Garlic Dipping sauce at 10:35p for the price of $24.99. While pulling up in the parking lot, I seen through the glass a white male employee at the register in all black t-shirt, pants and hat, with hair. By the time I walked in at 10:40p, up to the counter to be greeted for payment. The same employee all in the black outfit turned his back to me and started talking two the three other white males staff, who two were making pizzas and the other who was standing near the pizza oven. As they were having a deep conversation regarding all relevant stuff/things that had nothing to do with food orders or the nature of Tasty Pizza. I stood at counter while listening to them talking. After two minutes of standing, I sat down until 10:55p, I patiently waiting until the male in all black ending the conversation by saying goodnight to the other co-workers. I stood up for another minute- NOT ONE WORD was said to me, I was invisible to these workers-by being the only person and two feet away. I left at 10:57p, with no chicken or that one word was uttered to me as I left out. I live in the neighborhood and will never go back. I drove to Ray J’s American Grill, on central in mpls got 8 Jumbo wings for $19.48 and one ranch dipping sauce. I was greeted with a smile and felt welcome to spend my money, for wings serve until 1am. The Tasty Pizza staff on 7/14/22 made me feel that my presents/money was NOT welcomed....
